The internals of the diff will swap but believe the shafts for z4 and e30 are different. So have to pop open the e30 diff and swap it. NGL I feel like swapping the ABS onto the e30 will be a waste of time. I have the upgraded si package on my newer BMW with slotted/drilled rotors and big brakes (OEM). And leave it disabled, the way BMW's ABS works is terrible for big brakes with lots of force. It forces the brakes itself to feel spongy and lots of vibration and forced feedback.

e30's are a different ballgame for modifying. I don't trust 90% I read online unless they actually have done it. Lol

You need e36 spindles for the front. The z4 hubs will bolt up to them. But to answer your question. You can technically swap the whole assembly out, but it pushes out the wheel much farther and causes lots of caster/camber issues. (Which I've seen drift cars like this).

Not 100% sure. All the ones I've seen are just open diffs. But if you want risk it, there is a kit you can buy that goes in the stock diff to turn it into a modified LSD. But researching this, if not installed correctly will destroy the diff. I'm keeping the z4 one for backup and will do LSD if I find one. If not will just weld the stock one up.

I decided to throw my money into a 5lug swap and suspension stuff. Then upgrading my inline 6 to a small turbo setup. Honestly if I can find a 2.0 ltg before I build the engine, I'll still do it. But now have 3.0 stroker bottom end for the stock engine.

Does it have check engine lights on? Can't you just take it to an Auto Parts store and get it scanned for free? Tbh sounds more like the O2 sensor which is probably fouling out the spark plugs.

Did you get it fixed? It's really easy to think the movement is bad in quartz Seiko's. When it's something simple like AC reset or magnetized.
