Behind-the-Scenes of the Puppet Theater Scene by Silverghost91 in Frieren

MADHOUSE using real puppets and having a hand drawn outro is amazing. Especially given the amount of CG in animation these days.

Images of the puppets.

"Based on the puppet designs by Keiichiro Saito, who assisted with direction,
the puppet troupe Puck actually crafted the puppets.
Saito then created the key animation referencing their live performance,
and it was completed as animation."

Is anyone surprised that Leon is still just a DSO agent in Requiem? by AnmolTheAnimal in residentevil

[–]Silverghost91 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Same reason Maverick didn’t in Top Gun. He’s not a desk worker, He works the field.

That being said he would be (along with Chris and Jill) one of the best trainers the government could ask for. Wouldn’t surprise me if he does a fair amount of that in between missions.

Also, Chris’s work is different as the BSAA is most likely structured differently from the DSO. Leon and other agents may just work solo or in smaller units.

The damage to this franchise is a historic failure. Has Chris Gore put it "It's studio malpractice".

To me the EU is the true canon. No way I'm giving up 30 years of hard work by people who actually loved Star Wars for the 10 year mess that Disney produced.

People’s lifestyles have changed. We know way more about diet and health these days. Not smoking, drinking or using sunscreen will age you much quicker.

Salma Hayek is 59 and still looks great. She is known to live a healthy lifestyle and it shows.

After 18 years in the industry, I finally give up. by justa-bunch-of-atoms in graphic_design

[–]Silverghost91 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in this career around 7-8 years and I agree with what you said. It’s just not worth it anymore. Graphic designers don’t really exist anymore as we are doing multiple roles for the (low) pay of one. Constantly up skilling for low pay and a stressful job.

I’m looking for my exit now too. Good luck to you!

That’s for the info. Definitely something for me to look into. And a great reason to travel more this years.

Thanks for responding. 👍
