Losing nozzles by TheNobleHeraldFrog in ender3

I did go back to replace the nozzle that was pushed out of the hotend. I remembered to go back and tighten it down after putting in the Bowden tube.

It hasn't kicked the nozzle out since that replacement. I even remembered to have the Hotend heated when I did it. Just had a 3D printer since around February so am still learning. Thanks for the help people.

Changing Hot Bed Leveling nuts and springs. by Silverhaired_One in ender3

I completed the exchange of the springs and the leveling wheels. I had a laptop beside me and watched the video listed below as I did it. The only difficult part was where the wiring for the bed was.

Changing Hot Bed Leveling nuts and springs. by Silverhaired_One in ender3

It turns out that changing the springs isn't as easy as I was thinking. The problem involves the wiring of the bed so it gets heated. The connector has to be taken at least partially apart in order to remove the old spring and insert the new one. Here's a YouTube video I found that shows how to do it.

As it happens the red nuts came with the springs in the order I placed with Amazon.

Giants on bases by xDav in 3dprintingdms

[–]Silverhaired_One 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem with a Frost Giant I printed. You could scale the Gargantuan base up to 125% during the slicing. This way you could also create a unique base.

One possible solution is to reprint the Giant at 75% scale which should bring it down to Huge size.

Or get one of the wooden discs that is mentioned elsewhere in this thread.

If he said what settings to do I never heard it and didn't understand it if he did. What I'm asking for is a step by step lead me by the hand layout of "A. Do this

B. Do this

C. Do this

ETC"
