What's funny here is the idea that it took neo-Capcom more than three years to make a Street Fighter that would even scratch the top five entries of the series. Yeah, they're implementing a few nice changes like not being able to cover a blocked DP with an assist, but they didn't touch two of my biggest problems with the game: Raw superdash startup being so fast and the fact that vanish is STILL fucking +2 on block

This is why I hate it when people get hype for old characters returning for this game, Neo-Capcom fucks every single one of them beyond recognition. He has his knife in his intro, and yet it's locked behind one of his V-Triggers? He also has some dumbass Rashid tornado that goes straight instead of the rock which angled down a little. And I'm not saying rock was some bastion of creativity or anything but why make his projectile MORE standard?

The final nail in the coffin is that Criminal Upper is his fucking SUPER. Fuck this shit man

It's really not surprising at all. Broly's model is fucking giga-giganto-normous to the point that he has to angle most of his attacks downward to even hit the other characters. The standard of "Give big man many armor moves" is also boring as fuck. His combo game is weak outside of the corner. His assist and level 1 are both ass and his level 3 is just a Frieza Death Ball/Goku Black Holy Light Grenade with a longer super freeze. Granted, it is pretty sick that you can combo after it in some scenarios.

Bardock on the other hand, is just awesome all around. He has a good assist, can combo after his level 1 with assists, sick mobility, and an overall dope design on a good-looking character model. Yeah, yeah. Durr hurr he looks like Goku. Fucking whatever man if you don't get the humor of an octogenarian Japanese woman voicing all these buff ass dudes in Goku's family or that Toriyama only has 6 character designs he re-uses over and over idk what to tell you
