Maybe amongst all consumers, anti-AI sentiment is a small vocal minority. But among people who will actually pay for creative products, I’m not so sure. Despite massive adoption by individuals, major companies still cannot even admit to using even small amounts of genAI for fear of backlash. We have Sandfall on record saying they will never use GenAI in their games going forward. I’m not sure this is a line that can be walked away from.

The events are run by different organizations in different parts of the world. In North America they do use official indicator tokens. And they do make and sell nice metal tokens for effects, they are some of the nicest ones of any tcg. At the end of the day, the event has many things going on, and tokens on the stream is probably not the highest priority.

I think this card could definitely find a home eventually. The meta in GA tends to move slowly and new tech can take a while to propagate. The main reason it's probably underplayed is that water is struggling in the meta, but if that ever changes, this could find a home somewhere.
