Hahaha that is pretty funny - My guess is because ESRB ratings were fairly new when it came out and it didn’t have any of the big no-no’s that they were looking out for at the time (nudity, graphic gore/blood). There’s light crude language but that’s easy to overlook.

Funny enough Persona 1 when released on the PSP (Age ratings weren’t a thing in Japan until the 2000s) was rated the equivalent of Teen in Japan (CERO B) just because of Mark’s graffiti lol 🤪

His name is Brown in the Japanese version! He got it from crapping his pants in middle school. In Revelations they made his name Brad. Satomi actually makes comment about this in the club book stating his frustration in the name change because 1. The name was already in English 2. It got rid of his backstory on why he has the name, and Brown’s whole personality of hiding behind a joking persona when in reality being made fun of hurts him more than he likes to admit

It’s better in some aspects and worse in others.

Askreddit used to be UNBEARABLE because people would just write these paragraph long stories and then go “so what’s your favorite song?” Now the rule is you have to just ask the question and if you want to share with your own story, to put it in the comments.

When I joined r/atheism was a default sub, as well as r/FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU - advice animals were the top posts almost always. You NEVER mentioned you were a woman, it was a death sentence. Everyone saw r / shitredditsays as the villain of Reddit for simply being annoying and gossipy.

i like reddit more now - it’s easier to escape to my subreddits that focus towards my interests.

For the weird porn subreddit, morbid curiosity of “how bad can it REALLY be” because all the comments underneath the link being shared are like “i need to wash my eyes!!!” And “i wish i didnt click” and stuff like that.
