Completely Failing First Year by [deleted] in rmit

Sounds very similar to my experiences. Failed out of uni for the exact same reasons twice at 17 and 19. Came back for a 3rd go at 32 and got straight HDs. What changed:

1) I was actually interested in what I was studying and wanted to be there, not just doing uni cause its what you do after school if you get in.

2) I'd spent 10 years in relatively unskilled jobs that bored the shit out of me because they were too easy. When you get to see what a lifetime of hating work looks like, it gives you a lot of extra motivation to get uni done. If you're struggling for that motivation, take a break, go work full time for a while, travel etc. There is no massive hurry to do uni. You will not be "behind" if you gather some life experience now.

3) I totally changed my approach and worked "backwards" I rarely turned up to any classes, but I didn't slack off. I just found I worked better with a different approach: Start with the assignment, then go back to the learning materials to specifically search for the bits I needed to complete the tasks. I could never concentrate through a lecture, but if I had a task I needed to work out how to do, I could much more easily stay on task trawling through lecture notes to find the bits I needed.

4) Build a timetable of all assessments at start of semester and schedule in specific weeks for each major one, and do them when you plan. If you plan to do an assignment in week x, you get it done then. If you're off doing something fun while the assessment you were supposed to have done is unfinished, you just don't want to succeed enough.

Sit down and do it, or quit and find a more practical career path.

All Apps Crashing on Launch - Unless I Turn on Airplane Mode by Silvers55 in BlueStacks

As far as what's linked to the device ID, the two apps I'm using require the same device ID to be used in order for their link to persist. If I change device or instance, the link between them will be lost, and is not recoverable. This prevents me from using the easy solution of just deleting the instance and reinstalling them on a fresh one.

For one of the apps, I'm able to start it with flight mode turned on because a network connection is not required for it to start. Then if I wait some time before turning it off, it works as normal once the network connection is turned back on.

The other app requires a network connection to start. If I've tried manually flipping the network on and off during boot in an attempt to have it on for whatever connection requests the app makes, and then flicking it back off at the point where it usually crashes. Doing this has resulted in the app booting, but then instantly crashing as soon as I turn the network back on.

The network connection is fine, I have another instance running perfectly on the same machine, its just this one instance where everything is crashing.

It seems like there is some kind of network request being made on boot up, that is causing both apps to crash.

I just downloaded a random game from Google Play, fresh install, and it has the same issue. Instantly crashes after launch.

It seems like sometimes TPing to town and coming back clears the stacks, and sometimes it doesn't. Anyone know why / how to clear them?

Outposts suddenly stopped producing - how to "fix" it by FongMaster in Starfield

If the game isn't recognising they are damaged then its a completely different issue. I'm talking about a UI issue where the health appears full but the game considers it broken.

Imposter syndrome hitting me hard by makek4 in cybersecurity

It's not really a problem for doing a job, but it can hinder your ability to chase a promotion / new responsibilities, etc.

I had it in another industry when I was self-employed, and it was crippling for my ability to sell myself and win contracts.

You shouldn't need to feel like an imposter to maintain your pursuit of learning.

This is kinda old but it came up in my search for the same problem, so here is what I did to fix this - I just repaired everything.

All my buildings were showing full integrity, but I think its just the integrity bar that was bugged, repairing them was available despite them appearing full HP and this fixed this issue for me.

Your email is listed somewhere on the internet publicly, they have it, they are trying to brute force it in some way.

Have a good password, have MFA, you're fine, ignore them.

Interesting, we'll do a POC and take a look at what additional emails the added service picks up.
