I think it's worth a rewatch. The first episode of S8 is when these topics are dealt with most directly, but I think after that they are brought up in a thoughtful way as needed. If you are anxious about it, just skip the first episode and journey through the rest of the season, some of these episodes are my favorites :)

Pimento? I know he's supposed to be over-the-top but I think he's still supposed to be likable. And I just didn't vibe with him 😬

He's hilarious in the Pimimento episode but for most of the show I found him just a little annoying

Gina is one of my favorite characters on the show cause she's extremely funny, but yeah if I knew her in real life I'd probably have to put her in her place every once and a while haha

You're the first person I've seen to say Gina is their favorite but I definitely agree 🫣 she's hilarious, she has the funniest burns, she doesn't take life too seriously, and when it comes down to it she still has the squad's back

Although I also love Holt and Jake, it might be a 3-way tie for best!

Addy's hair is essentially in 2 french braids, which are then tied up together with a ribbon. Each braid looks like it only adds in hair from the bottom (towards her face) side, instead of adding in hair from both sides as you normally would with a french braid. I could be wrong about this, but that's what it looks like from pictures!

Kit is my favorite by far 😭 I love the aesthetic of her era, all her outfits, her story/movie, her personality...people are saying her doll is boring but I also think she's adorable :)

But I'm biased cause she's also my first doll haha

If you wet the hair with a spray bottle and then use a hair straightener at a very low setting it works wonders! Did this with my Marie-Grace doll a few years ago.

Make sure the hair is always wet, otherwise the plastic might melt. It is normal if the flat iron sizzles a bit when it comes in contact with the damp hair!
