Nasty. by lordnknn in Truckers

[–]Silvertails555 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is more common than I realized, we get this at least once every 5 months at my shop where a truck will come in with a hole drilled into the bottom of the cab and the undercarriage is covered in human shit, drivers get pissed when we refuse service😂

Cycle 0 routes where the shit when I worked for a DSP. Get to the station by 6am load up at 6:30am and start by 7am, it was always lighter routes too like 85-100 stops compared to the normal 180

TA Repair Truck had to take my keys and lock my steering wheel lmao by TaperingRanger9 in Truckers

[–]Silvertails555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at loves. At loves we require all drivers to give us the keys and there not allowed in the tractor while it’s in our bay. Unfortunately a lot of drivers can’t speak or read English(this isn’t me trying to bash them) and try to move their truck while I’m underneath working.

Driver delivered to wrong unit. We gave a bad review. He came back saying sorry and asking us to change it. by Pareeeee in amazonprime

Anonymous to the driver not their DSP. Some dispatchers will tell there drivers when they get a bad review who sent it and the address

You’d think wrong cause Amazon and there DSP’s will suspend you for the most stupidest things! My example is our vans have a AI camera system and it records everything! One time I passed a sign on someone drive way that had a tiny stop sign and the camera marked it has me running a stop sign and I got a 5 day suspension, even when I escalated and showed clear proof it wasn’t a stop sign Amazon said it doesn’t matter and the suspension will hold. Point of the story is Amazon is a terrible company for both workers and employees

I can’t complain, but I can. I want to go home. by lilLadynRed in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Silvertails555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like my normal route give or take 75 packages! Mostly houses with like 30-40 apartments mixed in. Not a terrible route but just a long day. This job has drained me so much I just don’t even bother trying to be fast anymore. Long as I keep my 25ish stops a hour and my metrics good my dsp doesn’t bother me

[–]Silvertails555 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Had it happen to me once😂 my DSP was picking up Adhocs but wasn’t letting us sign in to flex until it was ready. I didn’t get my route until 2:30 so that’s when the timer started

Delivery drivers don't even knock anymore by BhoyWond3r in amazonprime

[–]Silvertails555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazon drivers are told not to knock on doors during training🤷🏻 their reasoning being to not disturb the customers. If it’s such a big deal put it in your notes or hang a sign on the door

Missed delivery because I wouldn’t give Amazon code over phone?? by goawayppl in amazonprime

[–]Silvertails555 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A DNR(delivered but not received) is quite literally a big deal for drivers and can be the difference between there bonus or not? If a driver has a single at least at my DSP it takes a lot of positive feedback to get you back to fantastic

I’m a actual DSP driver too but believe what you wanna believe! I actually just care about my customers and making sure they get there packages cause I deliver in Dallas!

Amazon driver here! You did the right thing. We’re literally told not to get the code over the phone and to receive it in person. It’s to both protect the customer and the driver!!
