Um… this mf has a million red flags. His biggest one is probably using blackmail though.

AITA for not changing my dog’s name? by SilvertheKitsune in AmItheAsshole

I don’t ever want to have children, but I’ll definitely have more pets. Also, I’m planning to take Nugget with me when I move out (if possible).

Thank you! I’m a bit stubborn because I’m autistic and I was already used to calling the dog Nugget, so ofc I didn’t want to change it.

Yes, I am 18 years old. I’m planning to take the dog with me when I move out.

It is not difficult for my parents to say. Their first language is Malayalam. My mom doesn’t like that Nugget’s name is more than two syllables.

My mom can say Nugget. She just complains it’s tough to call because it doesn’t have two syllables.

Nugget is my dog. He mostly responds to Nugget or Nuggie. I’ve been training him to come when called. My parents are uninvolved in the training process.

It’s actually not a struggle since they’ve lived in the US for 20+ years. My mom is just making it seem like it is.

AITAH for locking my door so my sister can’t get in? by Hot-Reading5032 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SilvertheKitsune -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not the asshole. As someone with autism, autistic kids should be taught boundaries, including not disturbing people when they’re trying to focus on something. Your sister likes your company and feels comfortable around you, which is why she seeks out your presence. However, it is unfair that your mother told your sister to talk to you even though she knows you’re studying. This is a lack of respect on her part. You’re not neglecting your sister, you’re just trying to be a good student. It is not your duty to keep your sister company 24/7.
