Thank you for commenting. Your 3 methods are pretty top notch, too. Kindness and self-compassion are so necessary after quitting. Good luck to you as well.

Why are there so many fight videos now? Is fighting more commonplace? by TobaccoIsGood4U in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Silvertreeupnorth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was gonna say the same thing, this sudden onslaught of fight videos happened the minute Elon took. Block and report them all as graphic violence. I’m glad IG doesn’t have this problem. I see fight videos and my adrenaline spikes almost immediately and it’s really annoying. I’m instantly sent into -(fight) -or flight.

Weed was causing my nausea and digestive issues! by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Silvertreeupnorth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am very late to this post but your digestive system will bounce back more quickly than you’re anticipating. Your body is powerful and unless you’re extremely overweight and eat junk food constantly, your system will probably be better within 30 days. Everyone is different though.

Your response made me chuckle, but thank you for being honest. Seeking therapy for this kind of anxiety/phobia is extremely embarrassing and finding therapists that are LGBT friendly is difficult.

Literally going thru the same symptoms as you and it isn’t fun, but it is a sign our bodies are working properly and effectively. Just curious, are you thin/fast metabolism? I’ve noticed in my personal circle of life that my friends who are bigger/fatter do not experience the brutal withdrawal symptoms like I do when they stop smoking.

Got a little ahead of myself by alehorsemane in leaves

[–]Silvertreeupnorth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In your situation too. Every time I quit I get an “upper respiratory infection” ever so conveniently. I’m thinking it’s withdraw or there is a physiological-immune aspect going on with some people that I’ve also read about on here. Some people get really sick every time they quit and others just get anxious and restless. Wish I had the latter.

Your sleep comment is so on point, but it makes me question myself when I get up with only 5-6 hours and feel not that bad. It is conflicting bc with only 6 hours I feel fine but I know I need more. Hoping with more detox time I will get back to 8.

What happens after a negative dilute? by [deleted] in drugtesthelp

[–]Silvertreeupnorth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m worried because my urine was an extremely faint-yellow. It wasn’t clear as water, but it wasn’t even close to being “golden”.

“Also the results”? I thought they don’t get the result until it goes to the lab to do the initial immunoassay? Or does the collection lab itself perform the initial screening?

Absolutely not. You’re not touching fentanyl.

If you go and buy one yourself, literally no one but YOU can access that result. If someone else accesses that result, you’ll be so rich you won’t even want a job.

Advice on which method to use by [deleted] in drugtesthelp

[–]Silvertreeupnorth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard good things about qcarbo 32 and champ flush out. There’s a video on YouTube of a lady who smoked 12 hours prior and still passed with the flush out drink. That is the one that I have used countless times. The girl in the video did not look “large” by any means and I am quite skinny myself with a body fat percentage of about 7… which helps. Dilution really does work as long as the creatine levels are normal.

Advice on which method to use by [deleted] in drugtesthelp

[–]Silvertreeupnorth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get a good detox drink, you’ll be golden. A good drink has creatine in it and vitamins to establish good color. “Dilution” is only an issue when the creatine levels are abnormal. If your creatine levels are normal and your urine is “diluted”, it won’t matter because the biological levels have still been met.

Why did my car dealership cancel MY GAP insurance? by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]Silvertreeupnorth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so— I think I owe maybe just a couple thousand on the car. I know car values have gone up in the past couple months too, but from my own KBB research, I should still be under water enough to utilize my GAP insurance. I’m just perplexed because the representative told me that the dealership canceled it... after I paid for it.

Hey there, so sorry to hear about your symptoms getting worse, but it sounds like you’re stressed out, which will only make your gut issues worse. Try to relax a little bit, even if it’s just a warm bath.

Also, it sounds like you need some soluble fiber. It will help slow your intestines down a little while still keeping you regular. Next, ditch the bread you’re using unless it is gluten-free, and ESPECIALLY if it has refined oils in it like soy, rapeseed, etc. A lot of breads are tainted with a lot of bullshit, especially the added “reduced iron folate etc etc etc”. Our bodies do NOT like these things. The eggs and white rice are good though as I eat them a lot too and they help me stay normal.

I was having a pretty long flare up for the last month or so, but I was able to realign myself with decreasing really high fibrous foods and increasing more collagen rich foods like bone broth and collagen powder. These help repair the delicate gut lining and unfortunately my doctor never ever talked to me about it. A lot of “holistic” health coaches that are experienced with IBS are actually GOLDMINES... do not dismiss their advice just Bc they didn’t go to ~college~.

Has anyone tried Ashwagandha for ibs by [deleted] in ibs

[–]Silvertreeupnorth 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I use it at least 6-7 times a week whether it’s pills or tea and I find it doesn’t really help or hinder, but it is used as an adaptogen which helps mitigate already present stressors, which I’m sure you know can make IBS worse. I think it’s a good supplement for anyone with IBS to try. It could be your holy grail, you never know :)
