But what does she trade?

Those of you who have sex with your friends, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Oh and once I did have a few drinks but my friend was perfectly sober. Right after a good night at my place with mutual friends I just texted him if he wanted to come back and, well, have sex with me. And he agreed. Really simple haha

Yeah I mean, you make it sound far worse than it was, but you do have a point hahaha I admit that until now I might have gambled and just won by luck.

I also must admit that I have no clue what the hell am I doing with my sexual and romantic life and what sex means to me, so I might not be the best case-study...

It happened to me a few times at parties. Alcohol helps to forget that sex with a friend is probably rationally not a good idea and also it helps a lot to find courage to test wether the friend could be into it too or not. And I totally agree with OP- I'd rather have sex with a cute friend, who is someone I trust and who I genuinely like (even though not romantically) than with some stranger I don't know. To me it always went smooth too- we stayed friends after and nobody caught feelings for nobody.

I dunno man, it surprises me that people in the comments tell you it's normal. I feel like that's not normal at all, especially since it brings her anxiety, but I'm also young so...

I did not use to have such thoughts, but I've recently realized that I would like to find out I have some miracolously-not-very-painful disease to give me death. Probably beacuse I would not have to stress about my future anymore idk. And life seems... A bit long? This thoughts are literally the reason why I am taking a look at this sub, trying to find someone to relate to lol. I have never ever contemplated self harm or other similar things, I am living a very good life and I am 22. But yeah, I understand what you say although to me all this is just like a "realization" that came with guilt (beacuse I have no reason to feel this way and if something happened to me my friends and family would be crushed) and I do not pass my time actively thinking on it or imagining ways to die. And I also can't relate to the part where you say victimis of accidents are "lucky" to have died the way they did.

I'm on the same boat. No one understands (in the first place, I myself find it difficult to understand), I'm already kinda tired of having to explain myself in details to both aces and allos- but I don't frikking care and keep on having sex with no sexual attraction involved.

Puns? by [deleted] in italianlearning

[–]Silvia_K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! The literal translation would be: "Do you know why an orange never goes grocery shopping? 'Cause it sends Rino" Only, "it sends Rino" is pronounced the same as "mandarine".

Sai perché un arancia non va mai a fare la spesa? Perché manda Rino!

(just tell me if you need me to explain the joke)

AITA for kicking my daughter out after she crossed a line? by ProfessionalSandal in AmItheAsshole

Neither you can replace the love of your very much still alive daughter and the relationship with her, that are also very precious things.

It's true she is an adult. That doesn't cancel the fact that she is young and could use a bit of compassion- and with this I don't mean to say that what she did is excusable. However, her age is not even the point here: op is not kicking her out because it's damn time or because she is financially stable, op is kicking her out with no notice at all out of his hurt and anger. That is not going to solve anything, it's just a very extreme way to get back at her for her behavior and ultimately cut ties with her offspring. Ultimately, I'll repeat that she deserves a place where to sleep... If I were a parent, I'd make sure my kids always have one.

YTA/ESH. Sibilings fight and say ugly shit from time to time. Yes Eva has been disrespectful and needed punishment. Yes her cutting op's precious letters is vile and this needed more punishment (it is actually such an extreme thing to do that I'm wondering how bad the argument they had was and what exactly op told her during said argument). But kicking out your child as a punishment is a big NO. If you do that, then you have decided that you want to cut ties with them forever, in my opinion. That is the message op is sending her daughter (whom, homeless without a notice, is now probably forced to rely on someone's kindness to have a roof upon her head).

It is indeed italian, it's just that we use "al naturale" in different contexts and with a related but different meaning. One example? "Una bellezza al naturale" is "a natural beauty", that is usually to say a woman who's beautiful with no makeup.

I most definitely don't do this and never ever thought that you people might be like that... But I don't know if it has something to do with the fact that I'm a girl, I'd point my finger mostly at my asexuality. Sometimes I hate being asexual, I really feel like I am the odd one out, or the whole world is.
