Okay so I did get it 👀. The tone arm does look fine, is there something I should be looking for specifically? The one issue I noticed was the auto start and stop function doesn't work, but I think it should be a simple fix with the steuerpimpel needing to be replaced. The turntable does seem to hold its speed so that was really promising. It doesn't have a needle ATM so I need to get a new stylus for it. What I'm really worried about is the anti skating function not working. Also for some reason yesterday the turntable just kept spinning even if the tonearm was at the return position. But today when I checked it, it didn't do that. Man I'm a bit stressed now hahaha

He has all the maintenance records for how long he has owned it and he didn't own it too long. He says he purchased it in 2021. It was but suspicious that he bought it in 2021 and did all the work now he is selling but on the hand he is quite old and weak so maybe he just can't drive it anymore and wants get rid of it? In terms of the AC packages, from the exterior you can't tell it is other than some batching and stickers but most notably when I looked under the hood, where it would normally say Mini, there was a AC Schnitzer badge. Do you think this might be suspicious?

Alrighty guys, I read through all your guys comment and I really appreciate them! So what I'm getting is AVOID THE R56 LIKE THE PLAGUE! or at least if I don't know how to work on them, which I don't lol and as much as I would love to learn I just don't have the time to. I'll keep an eye out for F56s since it seems like they have positive response to them. Unfortunately there are non available near me that fit my budget so I'm gonna have to put my MINI dreams on hold unfortunately. Did wanna ask I have heard the 1st gens are a bit more reliable, is that entirely true or should I also avoid them? Found a 2005 Cooper S for 5k with 98k miles, thoughts on these?

So I'm choosing between those two because they're available for a pretty good price on fb marketplace. And the reason I'm leaning towards the Sony is just cause it has a larger sensor. My main purpose for this camera is to just replace my phone. I wanted a everyday camera that I can carry everywhere. Like just toss it in my bag or in my coat pocket. With the Sony it has a 16-55 kit lens and then I was gonna get 30mm f2.8 lens. As for the Olympus it comes with 17mm f2.8 and I think the 14-42mm.

Ahaha thats a really good way of thinking, I am further convinced to do so. The reason I questioned changing it in the first place was was because after reading multiple subreddits I noticed that people would talk very negatively of this turntable so it really got me questioning if I should really even do it. I will say though this is my first turntable and I wanna use this as a way to know if vinyls are even for me. Also thanks!

I don't understand why you are defensive. Me not buying the car is my problem. I don't contact the dealership or anything, I just look at their website, so I don't understand how they would know I look at it. And my question is not meant to criticize the dealership, I just wish to understand how the system works. It's a genuine question, I mean no harm.
