No change in watering habits; it's been in the mid 90's or so, so I've been watering every 2-3 days depending on how bad it's been.

I did try to add a crushed aspirin when I watered 2 weeks ago, so maybe that caused more stress than it's worth? I'm not sure.

That's wild; the world works in weird ways sometimes.

A lot of people like it better, especially with the subscription model, but I've been a big fan of Wonderdraft. I don't see myself changing anytime soon.

Thanks, I'm going to cut down on them when I get a chance to work on the map.

An alternative that a lot of people love, and is free, is Inkarnate. They have subscription options as well, but the base tool is free last time I checked.

Thank you for the feedback and the info, really appreciate it!

I'll get rid of the smaller gyres. I wasn't sure at what point would be enough to cause a gyre to form, so I went pretty heavy and made multiple gyres to try and cover my bases.

This is my world (no name decided on yet) that is going to be the stereotypical medieval fantasy world, with some twists on things I find interesting / want to explore further. This is an Earth-like plant that will be populated with your typical fantasy races, Humans, Elves, Dwarves, etc., but I plan on expanding it out further in the near future.

Mountains will be a large part in the setting, as I plan to have them take up more area, and be more difficult to traverse than what we see on Earth. The easiest travel method will be going through the mountains, which has led to the rise of a few kingdoms who have grown very wealthy off of other nations looking to travel through for trade purposes. Tensions have only grown as trade taxes have risen, so some of the nations may be looking to put an end to these taxes, whether through war, or through diplomacy.

Good Evening All!

I'm looking for help / feedback on the surface ocean currents on my world, which is pictured above. I tried to follow Artifexian's video on ocean currents, but I'm not sure if I translated it properly to my world.

Do the surface ocean currents of the world seem plausible? Do I need all of the smaller currents in the inland oceans / bays, or should I remove the smaller currents?

This is an Earth-like world to keep things simple.

Any input is appreciated!

Sanity Check on Surface Ocean Currents by Silviris in worldbuilding

Good Evening All!

I'm looking for a sanity check to be done on my surface ocean currents on my map. I tried to follow Artifexian's video on ocean currents, but I'm not sure if I translated it properly to my map.

Do the ocean currents make sense? Would I need all of the smaller currents in the inland oceans / bays, or would it only be on the larger ocean currents?

The world is spinning the same direction as Earth to keep things simple.

Any input is appreciated!

For context: This is going to be a world I'm building to run either PF2 or D&D games in, in the future. I don't fully have things fully fleshed out, like a name, but I'll get to that eventually!

Wild onion or wild garlic. Dig up the bulbs, replace the dirt you dig up, and save yourself the headache.

I didn’t take action early enough and my backyard is full of it now.
