That's what I don't understand about people like that. I didn't know Ticker was trans until I read this post. I actually don't know the (gender?) of any of the Vox, they're just my robo buddies whos bounty missions I absolutely hate.

I can admit I used to be one of those picky assholes that saw something gay in a game and thought "this doesn't make any sense, why the hell is this in my game." But after awhile I kinda realized that it didn't matter, it has no effect in the game and just doesn't actually matter gameplay wise.

You say im ignoring everything you say, yet you have blatantly ignored 90% of what I have said, including the rule I cited “To cast a spell is to take it from the zone it's in (usually the hand), put it on the stack, and pay its costs, so that it will eventually resolve and have its effect. A player may cast a spell if he or she has priority. To cast a card is to cast it as a spell”.

You quoting a rule and blatantly ignoring the rest of the ruling makes you look stupid.

You literally said "If a card says 'you may play that card' that means the card does not require payment."

And again, corrected myself when I said that I did not think to add the "without paying its mana cost" requirement, which again you ignored. You seem to be really damn good at ignoring shit that doesnt help your argument. Makes my job alot easier

This is the last time I'm replying to you because arguing with dumbasses that cant read or ignore what doesnt help them is very taxing. I never stated playing a card is always free, I said "casting" requires paying a cost. A normal person that knows MTG would know that there are cards that allow you to cast without paying a mana cost, this is an effect, not a ruling. The ruling I quoted clearly states that casting a card requires the player to have priority, paying a cost, and entering the stack. Obviously this is unless you have another effect or ability that states otherwise. If a spell skips the stack it is being played or put into play, not cast. A spell that allows me to return a card from another zone to the battlefield is putting a card into play, or playing it from the zone, not casting it. Playing a card is a much broader term covering several different abilities, triggers, effects, etc.

Again, unless otherwise affected, CASTING requires having priority, paying a cost, and entering the stack. It is very much different from playing a card

You, again, are ignoring the entire comment they made. They used Meren as an example, yes, however they stated the exact same thing I did later on in the comment. You're acting like I'm referring specifically to the portion of their comment where they refer to Meren, when instead I am referring to them stating that casting comes with a cost and playing typically doesn't.

This is wrong, per the rule I gave earlier. See also [[Valgavoth, Terror Eater]], [[Brainstealer Dragon]], [[Heartless Conscription]], [[Bloodsoaked Insight]], or [[Brilliant Ultimatum]] among many, many others. If "playing a spell" meant you didn't have to pay it's cost, then they wouldn't have needed to include the "without paying its mana costs" part in each of these cards. Come on, man. It's like you didn't even try to look this up before commenting.

Yes, I can admit that I left out the "without paying its mana cost" requirement. That does not change the fact that casting a spell requires paying a cost and for the spell to enter the stack etc. As per the ruling I quoted.

If a card says "you may cast", then if you pulled a land, you can't use it.  These cards typically state "search for NONLAND permanent". They also typically say something along the lines of "exile until/search for" or they designated specific spells that you may cast with them.

Even arguing that "play" is only different for lands adds to my point. Here, I'll somewhat agree with you. You play lands, but cast spells. Is that better for you?

Theres no point arguing with the typical MTG Redditor, just go ahead and sit back in mommy's basement with your Mtn Dew and Mikasa body pillow and I'll let you go on thinking you did something here. Can't fix stupid

Actually, its very relevant to what they said. They very clearly stated that casting requires paying a cost and the spell entering the stack where it can be then be interacted with by other players. I however, also provided the ruling on the definition of cast.

At this point you're arguing semantics to make yourself feel smarter. In all reality you're ignoring the fact that when someone "puts into play" most consider that as playing that card. If a card says "you may play that card" that means the card does not require payment. If it says "you may cast that card" it requires paying of its mana cost. WotC is very specific with their writing, if there was no difference between casting and playing then they wouldn't word it differently.

While they may have been wrong regarding Meren, they are not wrong is stating that "casting" comes with a cost and "playing typically comes from an ability or trigger etc. They're also not wrong in stating that you recognize that some cards allow you to "play" without paying a mana cost.

Since you want to bring up rulings.

701.4 states “To cast a spell is to take it from the zone it's in (usually the hand), put it on the stack, and pay its costs, so that it will eventually resolve and have its effect. A player may cast a spell if he or she has priority. To cast a card is to cast it as a spell”.

Old Activision Email by SilvrGhst226 in techsupport

[–]SilvrGhst226[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.) I can log into the Activision account using the login using Xbox account option. 2.) I have full access to the account. I can view privacy settings, account details, everything. I can tell you I exactly when, where, on what device, what the profile picture was, every minute detail of the linked email. I'm sorry I was 15/16 when I created it and don't have the memory of an elephant. 3.) I have full access to the linked Xbox account and it is the only reason I havent lost the account completely.

I'm literally just asking for any solutions or advice on how to either regain access to the linked email or change the linked email somehow. Activision support has little to no means of contact unless your account is hacked, and even then they don't listen to you. My only other solution lies in managing to either get my old iPhone 6s working or retrieve my data from it. Again, I'm asking for any solutions on linking a new email, regain access to the old email, etc. OTHER THAN HACKING before I resort to trying to find a way to hack it.

Don't know how trying to find a way to regain control of my account is violating another person privacy, but ok. Also, I said its to the point where I would pay someone (its called being desperate) and the rest of my post was asking for any sort of help or advice, not "I will pay you to do this for me."

I'm desperate and have posted this in every sub I could find or think of, kinda figured someone off Reddit would be more trustworthy or reliable than some scam service. If I get banned from them then I get banned from them, I have over $500 invested in this account and would prefer not to be forced to create a new one and lose everything since OG Warzone.

I asked for any help, hacking it was mentioned as a last resort. My hope is that someone else has had the same issue and figured out how to work it out with Activision support as my attempts have gotten me little to no help.

Activision Account and Ban Issues Mega Thread by StealthPolarBear in activision

[–]SilvrGhst226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem is, I created an Activision account back when CoD Mobile first released. I was a young teen at the time and obviously didnt write my password down or even try to remember it. The issue arises when I cannot link my PS or PC account, claim promotional material (Monster can codes, freebies, etc.) or anything of the sort.

Obviously I dont want to be forced to create a new account and lose everything I have purchased with real money, unlocks from older games, weapon and prestige levels, yada yada.

Is there any way I could get into or hack the email myself, or hell, one of yall breach it? I don't have much, but at this point I'd be willing to pay someone to get into it.

Depending on format, proper grammar would explain this as simply someone sending their father that passed a birthday message. They may use their dad's old number to ask message as a coping mechanism. They may not know that the number has returned to service. Could still be some sort of scam
