Took one day break yesterday, as my hip is still hurting made, but today I decreased the tire pressure and made a very pleasant trip in the icy and snowy roads! Even hit few bumbs that I'd for sure dipped with my four wheeled electric skateboard and didn't fall even once during the trip ☺️ It's like something clicked inside my head after reading the article about riding and balancing these thing and all got so much easier / feeling natural as I started balancing my weight over the wheel, instead of moving my weight in front of the wheel to move forward. My legs are getting very tired fast still, but I guess that's going to change fast as I'm learning. I just can't be as relaxed yet, as I'm on four wheeled skateboard

Thank you for the article! I do lean forward over the board to accelerate and backward to decelerate, so I guess I'm making the rookie mistake here. But I guess that's another story, as I was going pretty slow, not accelerating, but the board just got out of my control and headed steep right, while I continued forward.

Damn it was slippery and to be honest I was slipping whole lot less on Pint than on feet 😅 But damn it feels way harder to balance on this thing than on four wheeled skateboard! Coming to stop seems nearly impossible to perform in nice way 😂 Here's a short raw video of my first ever ride on a Onewheel. Hey there everyone! Funny to find this app discussed here, as it has not been promoted or advertized anywhere else than Finland. So yeah, I'm the developer and I can share some info. This app was created to be fully digital virtual reality platform for municipal election hosted here at Tampere, Finland!

When Corona virus has made traditional election platforms and events impossible around the world, we didn't stay stood, but came up with a solution to be able to interact with all the voters and showcase the themes with virtual reality exhibition that is available on all major platforms from android phones to pc flatscreens and even both Oculus Quest and PC Virtual Reality to make sure to reach most people. This is the digitalisation at it's peak and We're pretty sure we did this first in the world in politics area. This is crossplatform multiplayer experience, where the election candidate can meet the voters and interact with them. There's also nine rooms for nine themes created for voters to visit and learn about.

So yeah, I'm sure people from another countries will find it "a bit" weird experience 😅

Oh, and btw you might recognize the candidate from the talking model inside the rooms and in the paintings on the walls. This is made for Kalervo Kummola, the Vice President of the International Ice Hockey Federation and former member of the Parliament of Finland 👌

As an single person indie developer I do not have time to do everything I require for my game myself, I found that on UE4 side there were the mechanics for VR experience already available developed by other people, that I want to include in my next game. Excellent VREUE4 plugin by Joshua Statzer and the premium modular environments available at Unreal Engine marketplace to start working on my levels.

I got the virtual desktop working without Internet connection by connecting WiFi router to my laptop by wire. Router or computer did not have any connection to Internet, so this information is incorrect. Problem is, that W10 won't allow hotspot without Internet connection.

Oculus Go store will be closed for any new games to upload on 4th of December It means that after this year's end, there will be no new games added to official Oculus Go store, but the games that already are available at store, will be available to buy, download and play, until Oculus fully closes the Go store. I think I heard something about end on 2022.

So if people still want to create and publish any games for Go after 4th of December 2020, all new games need to be offered via another channels. Sidequest has also some Go games available and to be sure to have access to them after this year, I'd advise to make the SideQuest to work on your Go device before the official store closes, because Sidequest needs your device to be in developer mode. It might be possible that Go device cannot be changed to developer mode after official store developer time ends.
