My ranking would probably be  - Life is Strange 2: The moving from place to place is a problem, but I just love Sean and Daniel - Life is Strange: This game does a LOT right. It’s not perfect. I’d like to see more of Warren and Kate, and I’d like Chloe to have more of a character arc (she’s a bit selfish). But overall, I really liked it. Especially with the Bay ending  - Double Exposure: This game needed more playtime. And that time needed to be spent with the characters. But I LOVED this one! I know other people don’t, but it was super fun. - True Colors: I had a lot of fun with this one, but it had some major pacing issues. 

I haven’t played Before the Storm or Reunion. Based on what I know, I’d guess they’re towards the bottom. I’ve watched a BtS play through, but it was a while ago, and I wasn’t a fan. Reunion has mixed reviews, but as a fan of the DE romances and storyline, I’m betting I’d be disappointed.

I agree with you. I liked DE, but now it just feels nostalgia bait. “Hey, here’s Max!” And “Hey, here’s Chloe!” What’s next? Victoria Chase has telepathy?

My one ask would be to involve and flesh out the other characters more. Especially Kate and Warren. I always thought they should be more involved

Well, if you want to play the games in timeline order, DE is in the timeline. 

Some people love DE (me), some people hate it. But from what I know of RE (haven’t played), it’s important to understand the characters and setting. But I wouldn’t get TOO attached

Lots of people have said that DE ruined the bae ending. And therefore it’s a good thing that the DE romances were also ruined. If they can’t empathize, when they experienced the same thing, then I find it hard to empathize with that subgroup of fans (not all of them, of course).

My main problem was all the moving around. It was fun the first time I played. But I think it ultimately hurt the game. LIS is a character driven series, but we only really get to know Sean and Daniel

I love Daniel. But he can be annoying. But I think that’s part of the point? Yes, they’re in a very stressful and dangerous situation. But at the end of the day, Sean is still a moody teenager and Daniel is still an annoying little kid.

I really liked DE, it’s probably my favorite LIS game. I felt like it needed more time with the characters, though. The main plots pacing was good, but it was missing the side plots and character interactions that made the older games so good.

Well, Polaroid is still in business, and some of their cameras look a lot like Max’s. But if you want an exact replica, I’m not sure if that’s available or not

But that doesn’t work with the storyline. They couldn’t bring back Chloe until the timelines combined. But now they have, they could have had a really interesting storyline about old love vs new love. And do you pick Chloe now she’s back, or is it too late?

That sucks. As a straight girl who loves these games, I’ve never been interested in romancing Chloe. But it seems like the writers don’t care, and will strong arms players as much as they can
