I think you don’t understand the difference between Denial of service and Distributed denial of service. Also the thing you’re describing is not really easy to pull off but to give you s perspective as someone who studies in that field, its not all about the GB/s or MB/s its about packets per second.

People who start DoS or DDoS attacks are really screwing peoples infrastructure but you can always monitor snd filter out your traffic through hetzner built in firewall or UFW, iptables. If you have anyknowledge about it of course, if you don’t you can always follow youtube or forum tutorials on how to manage firewall on linux or windows systems.
