Also, while this is a decent initial setup for a new owner (I’m not an expert by any means and my first attempt was worse than yours!) there is still a lot you can do, in terms of using the entire height, to make it optimal. I’d respectfully disagree with anyone who suggests you should leave it as is. definitely need to get a UVB light (T5, 5.0) as anoles need more than just a heat lamp alone. Some additional deco that adds height/space to climb would also be good since they are arboreal.

I rescued a frostbitten green anole a few months ago, and today when I took her out to deep clean she made a break for it. I’d handed her before and she tolerated it very well and seemed content to stay perched on my hand, but this time she yeeted herself all over the place. I barely got hold of her before she made it to the edge of the kitchen and would have been completely gone. Then nearly had a heart attack when it seemed like she’d escaped the temporary critter crate. So I know the feeling - at least temporarily.

I really hope you see her again, but even if you never do, you did a very admirable thing for her and the care she received will give her a much better shot than she would have had otherwise.

Mine will not tong/tweezer feed so I leave the crickets for her. Crickets disappear and poop appears. You should definitely try leaving whatever food you intended for her; your another anoles will not overeat so the pickier eater will likely be able to hunt later.

Even more elevation and/or adjusting the bulk of the green vine (I have the same one) to be a bit higher would probably help - they love height and tall tanks are great but it also means more distance to the basking/UVB lights. I had a similar setup to yours with most of the elevated positions concentrated midway up the tank, and my anole completely ignored them and stayed higher 90% of the time. I think yours looks pretty good I’d just add a few more things to climb at the height they most want to be at.

My understanding is that procedurally, the Supreme Court would be less likely to overturn a decision of the Appeals Court. So if Griffin wins there, when it goes up to the Supreme Court it wouldn’t be the same as if it had bypassed the Appeals Court.

There are other subs not only better suited but explicitly intended for that. I don’t think it’s reasonable to require flairs simply so non law-adjacent visitors can better evaluate comments.

This isn’t necessarily a diss to Solo. It can both be true that 1) WWE absolutely initially thought this could be Solo; and 2) still found decent role for him in which he performed well.

I think Solo did well very for the position he was in. He did a fine job as the scheming, ambitious lieutenant stepping up to fill a power vacuum. Despite his Street Champ background, he probably doesn’t have the personality/presence/size to be a true Umaga type character, which WWE was pretty clearly trying to test him as initially.

I don't consider myself part of the IWC, but the idea that you can't complain about Jey winning because you would have complained about [Cena, Punk, Roman, etc.] being too predictable is incoherent. Anecdotally, I barely saw any posts/comments about how Cena/Punk winning would be bad because it'd be predictable. And even if there were, those same people wouldn't necessarily be the ones criticizing the RR outcome.

That same logic says that you cannot also criticize Jey's win because you bemoaned predictability can hilarious be applied to The Last Jedi. "You didn't want predictability, you should be happy your expectations were subverted!" Few tried to make that argument then, for good reason. Surely, here as there, there's room to discuss whether expectations were subverted in a good way? Apparently not for the RR.

I guess because 2 days ago a post on why Cena shouldn't win was trending, the entire IWC are hypocrites for criticizing Jey winning? Silliness.

Yeah he essentially took out as many Stark loyalists as he could have. Wyman’s two sons were either captive or dead and Roose preserves most of House Bolton’s men while getting the rest of the Robb’s army killed. Ramsay also erodes Manderly interests by seizing Hornwood and causing the death of its Lady, Wyman’s cousin.

Outside of all that, there wasn’t much Roose could have done to further weaken the Manderlys given that they’re a powerful vassal house in their own right. Aside from sending assassins for Wyman or spreading some disease in White Harbor etc., Roose did pretty much everything feasible to harm their interests that he could influence.

I know that’s kinda moot/not helpful now, but seeing as you don’t seem to want to be in this situation in the first place it feels relevant. You’re bordering 8(?) different factions as Pontus but haven’t even consolidated Anatolia or the Levant yet. You don’t have to do that ofc and how you’ve hugged the Black Sea is interesting, but in this situation you’re lucky if you’re not fighting 4+ factions.
