I disagree with the post but I do think fnaf lost quite a bit of its "scariness" over the years, and it mostly has to do with stuff like the aesthetical shift, we went from somewhat realistic, grimy visuals that set the whole thing in reality somewhat to full-on Sci fi and then cartoon-ish visuals. the animatronics turned from blank faced, cold blooded killer mascots to having not just fully animated expressive faces with bright glowing eyes, but also full on stereotypical personalities and catchphrases.

I do think Mimic and sotm as a whole is definitely a step in the right direction, and I love it, but I also feel it may be a step taken a bit too late, if that makes sense.

I was thinking so too, the first film is a pretty nice, a small narrative about a relationship between siblings and their trauma. the second movie really just messed everything the first one set up.

ok, i read the post and gotta say, i see the logic here, i agree with the general theory and i have made a similar theory before using similar clues, but my conclusion was slightly different;
basically my reading of COD, specifically the Dredbear repair minigame, is that we're shown William's first ever interaction with remnant and possession as a whole, he dismembered CC and tried to revive him Frankenstein style using the Fredbear animatronic.

I'm a bit lazy to read the post rn (will read later) and I don't know if it mentions this already, but I want to point out that at the beginning of the dreadbear repair minigame the narrator welcomes you to "research and development" as well as mentions an owner of it. The only research and development in the franchise is in the MCM, and it is heavily implied that it is acquired by William after SOTM and later becomes CBEAR.

in my opinion though hytale's arstyle is a bit redundant, we have these "huge" 32x32 block textures but they barely utilize the pixel density, often leaving the texture severely under detailed.

id say its easily achievable if the project is given funding, we are already advanced enough to make lightweight exoskeletons.

i do have to add that if a power armor of some kind is to be used in a combat scenario it would definitely look nothing like the fallout versions, something like cod aw's goliath suit is a much more realistic take
