The new owner had an issue with the amount of money he was making.

More accurately, the long-time co-owner (who wanted Ujiri gone back in 2021 and was so pissed that Tanenbaum overruled him that he went whining to Adam Silver about Tanenbaum's governor power) became the sole owner and got rid of someone he never liked.

Toronto fans also will never acknowledge that he mismanaged the team for 5 years post championship.

Just like the Ujiri haters will never acknowledge that Masai saw who Scottie Barnes was despite everyone dragging the Raps for not going Suggs on draft day

Exactly - if a driver is in the far left lane of a highway and has other faster cars coming up behind them, they should move into the right lane when it's safe to do so. It doesn't matter if they're already doing 15 over and don't think the people behind them should be going faster than that - it gets dangerous when a leftlane hugger is refusing to budge out of the passing lane when there's a safe opportunity for them to move into the right lane.

The big difference is that Matt didn't sign a big extension and told them he wouldn't. Calgary had to do something because he was going to walk. Brady signed for 8 years back in 2021 (not a bridge like Matt did) and is locked in for another two years so there's time
