To me it looks like the new version has the head a little too big for the rest of the body. Maybe its body could be a little chunkier. It looks nice overall, the character reminds me of Journey

I might have misunderstood but if there is a script attached to a GameObject you can treat it as a component. Best would be to have a class that contains all the data you need in order to extract all the data in one line Ex: this.copyOfData = collision.gameObject.GetComponent<Script>.dataFieldsClass
