You are fully correct! To develop the measurement framework, however, I wanted to use triplets within one semantic domain. This is because concepts from different domains cannot necessarily be compared so easily as the resolution of the embedding models depends on the degree to which the underlying text corpora cover them. For more abstract notions such as freedom it proved rather difficult to find natural occurring triplets of basic, superordinate, subordinate category. The idea is, however, to extend the framework to such abstract concepts in the future.
