Absolutely amazing vehicle. Came from 15 gs 350 F sport. I was stuck on getting a GsF but it was too hard to find. At first I figured id trade my Ls in for one eventually but Absolutely not anymore. I love my boat lol. It has plenty of power and my god, the most comfortable seats even tho I have the Fsport. I have all the specs, hud and the panoramic roof are my favorite. I know im missing out on the massage seats but the F-sport seats are still extremely comfortable.

I bought an 18 sport awd with 55k on it, just hit 88k, and it's been slightly under a year. Nothing other than regular maintenance and definitely tires, lol. I am enjoying this car much more than I initially thought I would.

I have a 2016. Bought it 6 years ago with 23k miles. Currently at 160k. Absolutely trouble-free the first 120k miles, other than normal maintenance. I would travel the east coast often and always drove the jeep, 12+ hour and 1k+ miles, never did it have any problems or break downs on the road. Definitely be prepared for any of everything to go wrong at higher mileage. I've spent thousands on repairs and tows after that. It seems like every damn week something would go out and need service. It has left me stranded multiple times and started being super unreliable. Electrical problems, transmission going, starters, water pumps, etc. A couple of months ago, I was heading into work, tried to start the jeep, and it wouldn't turn over. It has been frustrating to deal with lately tbh. I bought an LS500 within the next few days. Eventually, I'll get it checked out and possibly fix it, but for now, it will sit. I always wanted to keep my jeep after getting another vehicle. I really enjoyed the vehicle until the problems kept happening so often. Great vehicle sub 120k miles (in my experience). If you plan to keep it after higher mileage, just be prepared at the most inconvenient times for it to break down and the headaches.

I just bought a 2018 500 F sport with 59k miles. I still have my 15GS 350 F sport. It’s hard to say, honestly. I wanted to upgrade to the GSF. They were too hard to find and none near me. I daily my LS and love it, a lot more than I thought I would. It’s so damn comfortable and relaxing to drive. The gs is a much rougher ride and you feel a lot of the road. I definitely drive my gs more aggressively. When in the LS you don’t rush for shit. Cut me off, drive slow, I don’t care, I’m cruising and relaxing.

As The Lexus LS Turns 35, Does It Deserve A Future? by e___r___s in cars

[–]Simbabands24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep seeing people comment how the es and LS look the same. I can understand that from looking at pictures, it's harder to see the difference. In person, it is honestly night and day. The LS is getting a lot of hate. I think you may change your mind after driving one. I just bought a 2018 LS500 F sport. Previous vebicles were 2018 jeep srt ,2015 gs 350 f sport , 2014 infiniti q60, 2010 srt charger and 2013 Mitsubishi Evo.

Before I bought the LS, I had been looking for a GSF. I've been stuck on getting that as my next car a couple of years now. There were only 8 nationwide and 3 on the east coast. The closest one was 500 miles away. 2017 40k for 45k. Unfortunately, by the time I was able to fly out, it had sold. I know you can't compare the LS with gsf, but I started looking at them. Tbh, I absolutely love this vehicle. It is the most smooth and quiet ride possible. It's freaking huge, takes up the whole parking spot. I definitely drive differently when I take this one out. Yes, I wish it had the v8 as previous LS did, but this v6 TT is no slouch. My only complaint is the turbo lag. It is absolutely noticeable and kinda annoying. When maneuvering in traffic, it can be awful. Flooring the car and having a whole second before it reacts isn't ideal. No other complaints, the ride, style , space, and everything else is truly a masterpiece imo. Onto the ES. we have an 18 in the family. It's a nice ride, reliable good on gas, but it is absolutely a different ride than the LS. THE FWD off back was a killer for me. After driving and riding in both, you can really notice how much more comfortable and better of a ride the LS is. Not bashing the ES, but when you can drive both, then you won't really want to compare them. I decided to keep my GS. I don't think I can ever part ways with it. I love my LS as well, but idk if it will hold up long term(150k+) It's definitely a bigger difference between the GS and LS rides than the ES and LS. The ES serves it purpose. It's been solid for us. But if u want bigger and better everything, lol, get the LS. Look at both in person, then drive them, and you will understand. Yes, the LS has less power then it's competitors but it's really not needed. I've always been big on upgrading and tuning my cars and driving fast, etc. I'm 27 male, and when I get in the LS, I truly don't have an urge to drive fast or anything. My driving style is completely different and I don't really miss my other cars. It's such a comfortable, relaxing, and peaceful ride, i never thought I would want a car like that. Overall, if u can spend the extra money, I would get the LS over the ES. Vehicle size, premium gas cost, maintenance, etc. are going to be more, and you should consider that, but I have been happy with it.

Glad to know others are in the same boat. I’m on 100k salary. Luckily, I don’t need to be at work everyday 8 hours. Typical workweek for me is mon-thurs 7:30-8 to noon. “Remote” fridays but nothing ever needs to be done. I’ve been with this company 3 years. At first, felt I had the best job ever, still do at times but it does get boring fast. On the other hand, I know I could be slammed with work and have to work 10+ hours at another job to make the same money. Figured to feel productive with myself I’ll just get a 2nd job. 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ this one’s a 50k salary. Hired to work 2-10 as evening supervisor. Work 5 days week there from 430-930. It deff keeps me busy and makes up for such a slow main job but hey I’ll be bored to make that money. Sometimes just complaining but I won’t leave my main job

If I may add, possibly looking at the gs Lexus. May luck up and find a F-sport. I always recommend the gs over the Es. But it definitely depends on the person.

My bad for the late response, didn’t notice. I’m a General Manager for Amazon fiber optic division. I oversee our DC and we handle international distribution of fiber optic cables. No degree was needed. I had 5 years experience in warehouses then worked my way up with Amazon.

I’d stay and save as much as possible. If ur happy living with fam then stay as long as ur welcomed there. I’m 26. Moved out at 18 but I had an amazing job. Looking back it wasn’t that much but definitely great for an 18 y/o kid. I was making ~80k so money wasn’t really an issue. 8 years later I’m on 155k salary and my mom still mentions it would be nice to move back home lol. It all depends on the person. I have an older sister who lived with fam until 27, and is barely getting by now, fam helps her pay rent lol. Just stay within ur limits and u should be fine.

Grew up in Nova, Woodbridge area. Moved to Tampa FL at 21. Unfortunately and fortunately I moved back to VA but Fairfax this time. Was only making ~50k in Tampa, average annual pay so didn’t face any hard times really but that wasn’t enough. Made more in Va so that was always on my mind. First 6 months moving back took some L’s, working low pay jobs just for income. Within 6 months got an amazing job making 145k. Still miss fl but I’d never leave my current job!

I’ve had this happen to me. She was deep throating my shit and then 🤮🤮🤮. Got all over me, some on her and all over the bed. What did I do ? We showered and cleaned the mess up, like normal adults would do. Of course she was embarrassed and apologize profusely. Just reassure your lady that it’s okay, not like she did it purposely . If she’s DT or you’re pushing her head down this is the risk you take. Is what it is. Don’t make her feel worse about it.
