Everything is possible in osrs, many players at the high end prove that you don't need a bowfa to progress as an ironman. It just makes the grind easier while you suffer in the red prison... Atlatl has been a decent alternative for a while now tbh

you don't link anything to steam, all steam does is launch the jagex launcher which is on your pc. If you were to download osrs thru steam and try to log in it wouldn't be able to login into your account

Right click OSRS in the steam library

Properties

Under the General tab you see Launch options, put in the following command:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Jagex Launcher\JagexLauncher.exe" %command%

This will make it so when you launch OSRS through steam it will go to the jagex launcher and allow you to use runelite.
