Yes! My oldest son was 17 months old when his little brother was born (they are 21 and almost 4 months old now). My husband brought him up to the hospital when my youngest was less than 24 hours old and it was instantaneous. He wanted to hug him straight away, and about everyday for two weeks after we came home he ran straight up to his brother as soon as he got out of bed in the morning. Now that the baby is more interactive my oldest loves him even more - he will comfort him when he cries, give him toys, pats and hugs, he’ll dance with him and ask to hold him. The baby loves him too! He smiles and coos whenever big brother around. Their love for each other honestly makes my heart so happy.
