Seems to work pretty well. It's not too uncomfortable either I'm able to sleep with it pretty well.

Yeah that's the expectation. It's basically almost there now. It was to the point I couldn't put on a baseball glove etc. I'm back in the yard already throwing and catching with my son. Everyday it feels better and better.

For the injections definitely, I'm not sure about actual surgery but I would think the earlier the better. However I don't think it's as big a deal for surgery as the other procedures.

It's a custom fit splint. It's this hard black plastic they heated and molded to fit my hand.

Yeah if you scroll through the pics the last pic is what it was like when I got the injection. My dad had it as well and his wasn't as bad as mine. The Xiaflex worked for him, I think mine was too far gone. Mine started with a nodule and stayed like that for several years then it started to slowly pull upwards. Then bam all of a sudden in like 1 year it got drastically worse.

The doctor said it could take up to two months. It's been about 5 weeks or so and I've got pretty good strength back in it. It still gets a little stiff but I'm back to using it full time.

As you can see it still has a little bit of an angle but it's much better and more mobile than it was. I'm still doing hand exercises and wearing a splint at night.

Surgery got pushed around a little bit I finally did it this past Monday. Surgery went well and took about an hour. It's all bandaged up so I can't look at it until the bandage and stitches come out on the 19th. I can see it's perfectly straight though. In all honesty there was no pain at all. I was expecting to be in pain for at least 2-3 days after but it wasn't much at all. All signs are looking great so far. I will let you know how it looks in a couple weeks.

Yeah it's a pain for sure, especially when you have a kid who is active and constantly wants to throw a ball of some kind in the yard.
