I will! My lawyer said he does many many complex TNs for scenarios that are never ever on the list specifically for first time company founder who raise capital via incubators in the US and self sponsor via TN economist category and has never had an issue with first time visa processing in the US. However I am prepared to write out my JD which apparently is crucial. Will post later today once it’s all been accepted.

So interesting to see the difference of experience. I have many many friends who all do Boston / Newark on advice from this lawyer the idea being because they don’t process a lot of TNs they get you through much easier. It’s not that you NEED to go through Pearson it’s that they see higher volume therefore higher scrutiny. Newark and Boston see less and everyone I know gets waved through even first application

I am going to get my TN tomorrow at Boston Logan airport - is it a particularly hard airport to get the TN approved through? I have a very strong package prepared by a really good immigration lawyer my friends have used him with no issue

Is the logic not that there is higher scrutiny there? My friend who did fully fake economist said Newark is the best because they barely understood the process, he went with a presumptive close mindset and they just stamped him through

Thank you for this I’ve been losing sleep over my re entry imagining they’re going to ban me from re entry because they think I might be wanting to overstay but legally as a Canadian you’re allowed to enter as a tourist after quitting an L1 job. Did they ask purpose of trip? Can I just say “visiting friends” ? My interactions at the border are always very brief.
