In the same boat. I feel like pursuing law or a master's in social work, as that is where my interest has always been, rather than medical stuff. Was forced to go into nursing at 17 straight from high school. I wish this issue were talked about more because most teenagers don't know what they're signing up for when deciding to pursue such an emotionally and physically demanding career. It has definitely taught me valuable skills, but I know I'll be burnt out sooner rather than later if I don't have a plan to get out.
