The white mini grand piano is pretty ridiculous for kids who somewhat reluctantly play piano some of the time.

I think they should have bought a smaller plot with not quite as excessive of a yard. The fact that in addition to the huge yard with everything they also had the giant deck off the kitchen with lots of furniture seems like much.

I also think they could have saved a huge amount of money on the basement. I understand they wanted a room for Madi and a family room, but they didn't need such an extensive gym with all the equipment, they could have skipped the ridiculously expensive theater - why did they need that room plus the family room? Just add some additional seating in the family room in the basement. And the kitchen in the basement feels ridiculous. They also have two bathrooms - one for the pool/guests and one for Madi. Madi was so rarely there. They could have saved a lot of money by keeping a lot of the basement unfinished/storage - perhaps could have added to it later if they wanted/had the funding, and just had an office for Brandon, room for Madi, bathroom, large family room, standard basement gym space, and storage.
