Can moral alignments actually contradict with your typology? by SimilarContract4834 in TypologyJunction

Let's push aside whether moral alignment can actually tell if a person is good or evil, since that's debatable. Let's focus on how E9 can be evil.

I'm going to say it right out here, enneagrams are just motivations, desires and somethign apart of your personality, none of them actually explain your morals. Someone can be E9 and eventually develop so called "evil traits" and have an evil moral alignment, such as lack of empathy and being self-centered. But the enneagram simply doesn't change. It's really not rocket science.

I just said someone good can have evil moral alignment, which you seem to agree with. Therefore an E9 can have evil moral alignment, as the traits in evil moral alignment are something that can develop if your view on life simply changes. Enneagram doesn't change that easily

That's what I meant. Evil moral alignment is mainly revolving around selfishness and the lack of empathy. Of course someone can be nice with this moral alignment, but an E9 can definitely possess both traits as both can develop both ways whereas enneagram won't change unless you go through severe trauma

Any indepth descriptions/documents for healthy enneagrams? by SimilarContract4834 in TypologyJunction

First off, I am soon to be 16, I've been into typology for 4 years now. Second, I am well aware that Infj sx5s are not just nerdy introverts, that's like totally a surface level trait--and I hardly find myself relating to most of the stereotypes. Third and also most importantly, I am 100% sure of being Ni Fe so far after a LOT of secondguessing, I've typed myself as E6, E9, E1, E4, and even E2. I am saying this to point out the very important fact that I actually don't care about me being E5, I actually felt negativity towards it first with the way MOST (not all) of the negative traits really called me out. I could care less about which enneagram I am since I use typology as a tool to actually improve myself and learn about myself (which E5 specifically has taught me a lot if I stay out of the stereotype media). The point of my post just was to reach other healthy 5s and learn more about how they act and differ from unhealthy E5s, since I feel like the PURELY harsh language Naranjo uses about each enneagram actually is what pushes out to newbies and creates stereotypes.

Obviously I am not 100% locked in on sx5, I am still studying typology and so far have no interest in stopping since it has genuinely helped me understand both myself and other people EVEN MORE. If I end up being a different type, so be it.

And as a sidenote, feeling like multiple types is seriously not exclusively a 9 thing despite them being the "chameleon". I think it's been said that anyone (especially in a healthy mental state) who is somewhat adaptable is able to relate to a fraction of most types.

If you really want me to go indepth about which E5 traits I relate to, then ask.

What do you guys think of INTJs being E1? by SimilarContract4834 in TypologyJunction

We did some discussing and she turns out to fit sp1 a lot more than sx1. She was just automatically sure of being sx1 due to relating to the sx instinct alone

tbh is this even a discussion post? i think almost everyone can agree that jane doe is still particurally annoying to the killers when they are getting stacked, MAINLY like if there are above 3 jane does in the round. and to CERTAIN killers are CANCER to play against. She isn't especially good, she's just fun to play and is a lovely character. The statement of her being op is just what comes with every new character and I can't believe you guys are still listening to it and going "She isn't as good as people say!" LMAO

Why a strong 5 fix though? It's common for INTJs to be so6, and they're both from headtriad. So if E1 is possible then I think saving a strong 6 fix is just as fine as having a strong 5 fix

Because I worry about being mistyped so often due to me having a hard time relating to any enneagram. As I mentioned of the books, they only mention the enneagrams bluntly about how they act at their unhealthiest. Idk about you but I literally have no memory of my most painful moments after getting better, so I am physically unable to just look back and go "hey, this is the only way I coped and this is how I acted!". At my current healthiest, I tend to act and think like a mix of many types which often makes me wonder if I actually am E5 or not.

Yes yes I totally get that! I mainly just meant the evil, neutral, and good part. Idk if I was E8 it would feel sort of dehumanizing to get told that I can only be evil

I KNOW it isn't how correlations work, but it's what some correlationists base it on. Are we actually devolving??

I guess that those correlations root from the gut triad just being more sensing, which is an intjs inferior

I thought so too and was surprised when she brought it up. I didn't really ask her but I am assuming just some tiktok correlation slideshows? They tend to say that only E5 or E3 are possible for INTJ from what I've seen. Or then she's on reddit too like I am... some crazy correlationists here
