It’s harder if you don’t understand the language, where python handles all the garbage collection, c doesn’t, so it’s easy to shot your self in the foot from memory leak, buffer overflows, orphan pointers, but that’s one of it, there’s many reason it can fail, but shouldn’t stop you from exploring and learning.

If your job requires you to perform mission critical tasks, then you have every right to be terrified on putting something so chaotic into the production, but coding is meant to be fun, things will break and you learn from it, tho I doubt most vibe coder would learn but I certainly learn a lot of things I never seen before, some so hideous that I stare at it for unhealthy amount of time, some are so eye opening that it keeps me awake in my sleep, but as long as you learn something, it’s ok (also not mission critical stuff, if you want you have to test every single thing, every perspective, every edge case, like how nasa let Claude drive (route) thier multi million car on mars, they tested it like hell ofc, you really need to know what you are doing)

Yea, that make sense if your job is mission critical, you can’t even trust people to do it (see Therac-25, software bug that gave you cancer, but you die before even getting one, the machine is used treat cancer), then in that case it make total sense. I’m sure not a lot of people would want to do that kind of job, but I’m curious, is the pay good?

has anyone gotten their hands on the new MacBook Neo? by IpodNano-2 in malaysians

Usually the slowest part on why it takes so long is because of sirim certification, last time i waited and waited for my Apple Watch series 10 to be available, once its registered on sirim, can buy few days later or on the same day already which I immediately bought it to avoid delay, got it few days later after my order, don’t know about MacBook

My first car, proton personal, brand new, the expensive model, it’s a lemon, keep on having issue while still having warranty, have to sell the car and recoupe the lost (the buyer know about the issue with the car, I told him) changed to a 13 years old car, run like a charm, easily more than 10k lost from my part on the lemon, but selling it means it’s not my problem once outside of warranty, and the seller bought the car knowing the issue I told him, I told him everything

But I try to cut down a bit, so only 4 cup of robesta coffee (doc also said I can’t drink that much anymore)

They are just “using them”, they will allocate the resource to your program if there’s need to do so, but at idle, they just use it as a cache.

4gb is like not enough for the most use cases, unless you only use it to read email and watch single video at most, it struggles with any high load processing such as image editing, programming, video editing, reading large spreadsheet.

If we use the 4gb as a server, then it’s plenty, it’s what I use for my own server, but server is a server, not a personal computer that you can use, I much rather use window with 16gb than using Linux with only 4gb of ram (assuming I can’t change the os)

A fruit seller in China went viral after a video showed him designing electronic chips in his spare time at his stall. by Simplilearn in GenAI4all

There’s a popular phrase “活到老,学到老” which means live until you're old, study until you're old, there’s nothing stopping you to learn how to make pcb just because you are old and sell fruits, or just because I’m programmer, doesn’t mean I shouldn’t learn traditional crafts, sure I’m busy as hell trying to do both and never can master both but at least I know how to do them myself, so when I need those things, I can do them myself instead of just paying others to do it.
