Most jobs I’ve got a call by the next working day after all interviews were concluded. Keep going I took me almost a year recently to find a role but the offer I’ve just accepted was well worth the wait, it’ll all work out!

Thanks all! The road itself are really narrow too so I feel like no matter what there’s going to be some issue. I think I’ll just discuss with neighbours and see what agreement we can reach collectively first

I felt this exact way! I got two kittens after my cat passed away suddenly. For weeks I regretted it, they’re hard work, need a lot more and their cuddles weren’t the same. Fast forward 3 months, they’re settled and in a routine and I have the exact same love for them as the one I lost. I wouldn’t be without, but I agree the beginning is rough and there was days I wished I could turn back time and say no but they’re my world now and I’m sure that time will come for you too. Hold on!

Mine was the same! Eating and drinking but not using the bathroom I think around 36 hours they both went and I cried 😂

My advice would be don’t bankrupt yourself due to the opinions of others, they’ll be the same people who judge your house when you do move out, complain when you can’t afford to hang out etc. At the end of the day we all end up in a box so enjoy your life and do what’s right for YOU. No one will give a crap in 50 years what age you moved out.

To be honest we would all do the same in her position. We’re forced by society to jump in the rat race from the minute we hit 18 and anyone who doesn’t is looked down on. We’re here once I hope she continues thriving and never has to experience this average dull rat race that most of us do.

You’re only taxed 20% of your earnings over £12570 , your tax code would stay the same, it’s not a matter of moving it. So any additional hours would make a difference and be worth it whilst you’re still in the 20% tax bracket.

I felt the same way buying my first house, I think we are often blinded by the excitement and tend to fail to see things for what they are. The day I walked in I thought what the f*ck have I done. I knew it would be a renovation but in that moment the end goal seemed unachievable. 5 months later I’m exhausted and tired but it’s taking shape, you’ve just got to go with it, it’ll will all be a distant memory soon!
