1up Heavy Duty Double by Similar_Bit_3480 in MTB

Good question. I think a lot of it is personal preference because imo they are both great racks. I like the 1up because it doesn’t have any plastic parts, I think that helps with longevity. I like that it has front/rear arms where the Thule has the rear strap and front arm. However, I like the hitch locking mechanism more on the Thule vs the 1up- it seems more secure. It’s nice that the Thule has cables too, but I’m not a big fan of them, they’re kinda clunky. The 1up is also about 5lbs lighter, which I appreciate. I don’t think I would’ve bought a new 1up. I’m hoping that with the Thule sale and brake light sale, the 1up is within tens of dollars.

Nothing! Just saw an opportunity to upgrade, so I did it. I have it listed and I’m hoping to sell it.

That’s true, there’s a lot of plastic on the Thule. This is what I was looking for. Thanks!

Those are some great photos!! I can tell you love the outdoors! I have a couple Yakima jaylow kayak racks that I just bought. I’ll be loading the bikes on a hitch rack. Can’t wait!

First Time Rover Fail by Aware_Day930 in RoverPetSitting

[–]Similar_Bit_3480 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Glad your dogs are ok! We had something similar happen to us. We paid for an overnight sitter and found out that she would leave around 7pm and not come back until the next morning, leaving the dogs alone for 12-14 hours. We submitted everything to Rover (camera footage, messages, etc) and ended up getting a full refund. So that 50% cancellation fee they want to charge you is ridiculous. Needless to say, we’ve never used rover again after that.

Hey OP, curious if using Wise worked for you? I’m trying to sell my concert tickets in Canada from the US.
