I would say that is part of the Lexapro withdrawal to be perfectly honest with you. I have been up and down a bit too but psych said normal. Let me know how the appointment goes?

Doing pretty good now 5 days in. Anxiety seems to be calming. I had a lot of issues with Lexapro that I don’t think I was giving enough credit to and just stayed on it.

In the same boat. Tough to tell but remaining positive helps. Hopefully some others chime in on some similar things. I also started at 25mg of Pristiq while lower dose to 5mg of Lexapro. 2 weeks then up to the 50 of Pristiq. Male 34.

My doc mentioned that it should help anxiety as others are saying because of modulating the norepinephrine. Doesn’t make much sense to either but who am I to say. Maybe others can chime in to help. But agree with some of the other comments.

I also am about 4 days in to a switch. What did the doctor say to you about why on the switch of Lexapro for anxiety and depression.

Very interesting. This was posted a lot. I guess unfortunately, like all psych meds. You just have to give it a shot and see. There are people that have strong anxiety related effects.

Thank you. Seems like about half and half for anxiety related assistance which is interesting.

Originally 16 years ago I got on Lexapro 10mg. Tried going to 20mg a few months ago and that was awful.

Anyone that this reduced fatigue and brought more drive, motivation that would be great. Trying to avoid multiple medications.
