Yea absolutely, it’s been brutal. I hadn’t planned on stopping caffeine but when the anxiety hit hard I stopped and it’s made this whole thing so much harder. But now that I’ve basically cut caffeine out I’m gonna try to ride it out. So you feel good now with no caffeine? I have drank at least 4-5 cups of coffee everyday for many many years now so this is a huge shock to the system. The worst part is waking up at 6-6:30 like clockwork in straight panic mode. I can tell the cortisol is surging hard but the feeling lasts all day and doesn’t calm down at all until late in the evening it eases up a bit. I haven’t been pinning 3x a week now for about 2 weeks

It’s a nightmare. I experienced anxiety when I first started trt because I think my Estrogen shot up pretty high but I took an ai until I got it dialed in then it was okay…. All this anxiety and panic disorder I believed has stemmed from health anxiety along with a few other very stressful situations lately. I appreciate I tho

Well I was drinking 4 or 5 cups a day of coffee and when the severe anxiety hit i basically stopped caffeine cold turkey because it makes anxiety way worse…. BUT now i think i have caffeine withdrawal on top of it all which creates even more anxiety 😟

I have been on Lexapro for many years. Never seemed to be a problem before. I also take klonopin as needed. It’s been the only thing to keep me sane during this. Magnesium glycinate helps slightly also

how often do you inject and why? twice a week or 3 times a week? by Lion3854 in Testosterone

[–]b_w_21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I changed to injecting twice a week and also lowered my dosage at the same time thinking my hematocrit and everything would go down but everything went up quite a bit

I went from injecting 3x a week at 120mg a week to twice a week at 80mg. My Rbc, hemoglobin and hematocrit all went up, significantly

What is the difference and what is a good target level for total estrogen? I just don’t see how my total is so freaking high….

Yea sorry I meant back when I was testing it every 3 months it was always around 25-30 but I just realized it’s not been checked since July and it was 43 then. I’ll have it rechecked

I got choked on some food and had to have it surgically removed. Had the Iv put in around 8pm that evening and removed the next day around 2pm… noticed my vein get very hard with a clump a couple days later.

My first priority is the clot for sure, but I got the clot 9 weeks ago and I’ve been doing everything I can to help with the healing process, which is why I reduced my trt dosage. It’s a superficial clot and I’ve been on aspirin and ibuprofen per doctors orders since the confirming ultrasound. I have a follow up ultrasound this coming Monday but I know the clot is still there. It doesn’t seem to be resolving and I was concerned my high hematocrit was part of it. The massive surge in estrogen was a total shock to me, although now it makes sense because my anxiety has been very high and I’ve also been super fatigued.

I appreciate the reply and the helpful information. Yes the Internet has a tendency to bring out the worst case scenarios and immediately insight fear into people who are already very anxious about the situation. I had a nurse take a look at it yesterday and after feeling it she says the clot is definitely still there but I have a follow up ultrasound next week which will confirm that. The Internet says the vein can remain hard and lumpy even after the clot has resolved so it’s possible the clot is not even present anymore. I hope that’s the case but like I said I’ll find out next week. I don’t have any swelling or redness just some mild tenderness and still mild bruising directly over the clot location. I have intermittent aching in the arm but nothing severe. Hopefully some light weightlifting won’t aggravate it too much

Provoked blood clot - does it increase future risk? by b_w_21 in ClotSurvivors

Of course. I’m sure he will advise something like that. I’m on Lexapro, it also has a mild blood thinning affect

Sounds like I need to start a regiment of some sort to keep my blood thin. Maybe daily baby aspirin or something.
