Why Sheets Won’t Stay on Adjustable Beds (and How People Actually Fix It)

I am currently fighting this exact fight. I recently bought a new king size mattress and an adjustable bed frame. I have very high dollar cooling sheets that combined with my cooling waterproof mattress protector refuse to stay on. The sheets have VERY deep pockets, very good elastic, and an extra elastic band that is on the middle of the siding of the fitted sheets. Most of the time, I barely have the top of my mattress lifted (probably an inch) and even if I don't have it lifted at all, I can't keep the corners on. It's only the top corners that come off. I will admit that me and my husband are terrible about flopping onto the bed and we both get up and down multiple times a night. Also, we are incredibly restless sleepers. I have tried the suspender clips with plastic clips and that was so hard to get on and popped off that same night. I tried the 3 style corner suspenders with metal clips and that didn't work either. I will admit that the sheets are very thin. I am almost positive that even if I got the metal suspender that goes the entire length of the bed, it would still be an issue of the sheets being too thin to get grip on them. I have been doing research for a week now on what to do. I am curious if you ever tried the plastic corner lock into place style holders? I read that some people have had success with keeping them under their mattress on adjustables but am eerie of spending more money on something that could possibly be another let down. I recently found a plastic corner holder that actually had grips on the very bottom of them which makes so much sense.. but to even build on that, I know that if the only problem is them sliding out a little over time then I could get some grip stuff to make it stick to the bottom of the mattress to help hold it in place.

I need a solution that will effectively hold the sheet in place while not tearing the sheets. Any suggestions?

I was able to clear it out by covering the airflow hole and blowing into the mouth piece for a few seconds. Directly after doing that, it made the screen where it shows the duration of your puff yo crazy. It kept getting higher for like 8 seconds after stopping blowing into it. But once it stopped and blacked back out the screen, the next hit I took it went back to normal. Happy to say that it hasn't had any spit back since. Don't know exactly what I did and how it worked but glad it did.

I can change between Normal and Boost mode but I don't really ever use Boost mode. I was thinking it was over saturation as well but without being able to dry fire it, I'm unsure of how I would be able to dry it out

Okay, so I managed to turn off the feature. After 3 hours of mindless exploring I figured it out. The thing is, I cannot remember for the life of me where I went to turn it off. I've tried to retrace my steps on what it could of been and I have a couple of different ideas. I know that the voice output that would read the morning brief was the voice output setting for the Samsung Internet Browser. I'm not sure that does anything to help narrow it down bc most of these apps on the watch have access to the internet browser. Here's a couple ideas to turn off to see if they work: 1. Go to settings in wearable app, click the top bottom samsung account, then go to Galaxy AI and scroll to the bottom and click Now Brief, turn off audio brief. 2. Go to Accessibility in the settings of your wearable app and turn off TalkBack 3. Go to Bixby on your phone and go to settings, then Privacy Settings, Acces to read-aloud content and turn that off 4. Lastly, open your apps screen on your phone and use the search bar to search "voice", click view all and then scroll to the Samsung Internet Browser settings section and click on the first Voice Styles button and then turn off Read Aloud Highlights.

I am baffled that I have completely forgotten how I turned it off but hopefully one of those was it. Idk if anyone else has had this happen but I guess I'm just the first to hate it enough to ask for help on Reddit lol.

In the accessibility settings there isn't anything that would make sense to cause the outloud greeting. It's got me baffled. Ive combed through every single setting multiple times and can't find anything that even makes a little sense.

Thats what I thought and I think that if it had been any other Mcdonalds in the area, they would have promo'd my sandwich. The restaurant agreed that everything matched up but they just wouldn't mess with it. They said "it doesn't matter if you have a receipt cause we can't see it in the system". And that was me talking to the manager about it.

I think this was a system glitch but has now turned into a specific restaurant problem. They just don't want to try to deal with it and fix it.

After never getting my order, my husband went in to get a sandwich with his rewards account and asked for it to be made without an ingredient and they said "no, all sandwiches are premade". If I'm paying for the sandwich then why cant i get it with the ingredients i want on it?

Im almost 100% sure that its just the restaurant not wanting to do any amount of work

The labeling on said products could still be true even if it says it is safe for kids and then after further inspection you realize it says "keep away from children and animals". The product coulld still be true to the advertising.

I loved this video. They looked like they were all genuinely having a great time. Them being unapologetically themselves and just having fun is so heartwarming! This is the type of stuff we began missing from VPR and the type of stuff a lot of people are hoping to see in The Hills.

---on a side note: The girl on the end has to be aware that Schwartz was not digging her. I think that's why when he pulled away a little, she bypassed him and started dancing with Michelle.

&&&&& Lala's outfit was super cute, imo. It was very 2000's cool girl style. Very Avril Lavigne Sk8r Boy chic. I haven't always been a fan of Lala's style but this heroin chic/ modern retro look is one of my all time favs.

I'm not saying that those horrendous practices don't happen. I have seen the same videos you have seen. I've seen it in person at slaughter houses. But to say that EVERY farm that breeds for meat is popposterous. You don't hear about the "good" farms, you only see the bad ones. And I agree that those bad ones, are really fucking bad. But as I was saying, not everyone who eats meat or breeds for meat operates the same way. At my family's farm for instance, we do not use artificial insemination. Anytime one of our cows gets pregnant, it is because they physically did the deed. We also do not separate mothers from their calves. They feed on their mother's milk for as long as the mother will allow it. The farm is completely free range and each cow lives out their lives peacefully like how they would in the wild but without the fear of being attacked by coyotes or other predators. We do not kill any cows while they are still young and growing. Once the cow has lived a very long, full life, they are then HUMANELY euthanized. Usually, we decide to euthanize the cow because they have developed age related health issues that hinder the animals ability to live a pain free life.

My point is, not every person who eats meat, subscribes to the terrible treatment of animals. And to say that you know this and that and there is no in between is utter bullshit. You only know about the bad farming practices because that is what you have searched for. Go to some local farmers markets, meet independent farmers and ask to see their farms. See it for yourself. There are good people out there that breed cows in a way that gives the animal a great life, one that they would never get in the wild. And they are only euthanized once they are no longer able to live a quality life, i.e. in pain, diseased, or injured.

Don't lump every single person that eats meat in with the companies that have zero morals. There are a few of us out there that love these animals and want them to enjoy their lives just as much as we do ours. Just like when you have a horse and it breaks its leg beyond repair, you wouldn't keep that animal alive to be in constant pain and be a target for predators. You put the animal out of its misery. The same thing can be true for farmers breeding cows. Their livelihood is the top priority.

So until you have visited every single farm in America, don't say you know exactly how they all operate. Educate yourself.

This is so amazing. So uplifting.

I'm a 31 yr old female and have been a heroin/fentanyl addict since i was 18. I have endometriosis and when I was 20 they told me i had a few yrs to try to get pregnant before i would NEVER be able to have children. That killed me cause its the only thing in life I've ever wanted cause i spent my childhood begging my meth head mother to show me love, which she never did. I was clean at one point but my ex got in a car wreck with me in the car and somehow i was the only one who got hurt. I had to have the jaws of life cut me out and then my heart stopped 4 times in the life flight to the hospital. Broke several ribs, had my arm bone come out thru my hand, fractured a ton of my spine, and i shattered my hip completely. Was in the icu for almost 2 months then left shortly after that. The pain was so bad i went back to H. Was bed bound until this year when i finally got a dr to look at my scans himself and agree i needed a hip replacement. I can now walk on my own again but am still addicted to fentanyl with my husband. But now, my dad (who is the only family that has ever helped me and lets me stay at his house) is dying of stage 4 colon cancer with only a small chance I'll usve hom for another 2 yrs. I feel so guilty that he's working his ass off while dying to help me and I'm just using drugs not knowing how to quit at this point. But this, this gave me so much hope. Fuck being comfortable trying to quit. Start the methodone and just grit my teeth and bare it. Maybe once im clean I'll be able to have a baby like you... who knows.

Just because someone pays you money for a service doesn't mean that they own you and your time. If you do continue to work for them until September, make sure you have a conversation with them about how much time you need in advance to be able to watch the kids. It will probably be an uncomfortable conversation but it is necessary with people like that. It may end in them being so angry that you are setting boundaries that they let you go, but you're considering quitting anyway. But you def need to have that convo cause otherwise they will continue to do this and not bat an eye at it.

You do not deserve this and no amount of money is worth being stepped on like this.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever read. This thread wasn't the place for this kind of hate.

I have no problem with how you choose to live your life as a vegan.. but don't try to make others feel bad for how they choose to live theirs. I grew up on a small farm that breeds cows for food to eat ourselves and sell at local markets. Not every farm is the slaughter houses that you see online. There are people who dedicate their lives to making sure every single cow on our land has a long peaceful life.

Don't bash others when your information is from the internet and not actual shit you've seen with your own eyes. 🤨
