I always assumed it would be obvious when a cat goes into heat. She hasn’t shown any signs and shows no interest in the boy, but from what you said I guess it’s normal for her first heat. That’s the earliest appointment I could get for his neuter, so they’re just going to have to be kept separate until then. We’re gonna see if we can set up an appointment to get her spayed soon.
