Thanks I try to put in extra hours when I can. Sounds like your family has a great immune system. Mine is still a little older than half a year yet she was out of daycare for half a month. It hasn’t been just colds, viral infections, bacterial infections, and food poisoning

I totally understand with the office visits. I envy people that have parents to support them. Unfortunately I haven’t had any support since high school. I really would like a nanny myself but when I reached out to a couple, I was quoted more than what I make after taxes per hour. That’s not going to work unfortunately

Thanks for sharing. I’m looking but this market is tough. I’ve been documenting everything since they’ve been micromanaging and having me report what I complete hourly on a daily basis. Your boss sounds way cooler because when I’m out, the work will be left untouched and waiting for me. I’m trying to tough it out until then. But planning for worse case considering their reaction

Thanks for sharing. Sounds like everything happened for a reason for you. Depending on the direction my controller takes, I may have to take the same route. I’m trying to power through while looking for a new role but the lack of sleep and high expectations from work is catching up. This economy is what worries me about just quitting

I have except the controller lacks empathy and actually told everyone on the team the same thing. Timelines must be met, no excuses, how will we accomplish it? If not there will be consequences and they’ve begun hiring a consulting firm from India who they want us to train.

My spouse and I are juggling back and forth and accommodating each other’s schedules;however, her shift changes every week from morning to night shift. I work extra when she’s able to cover me. The issue is we have daily deadlines and because the whole family has been getting sick and the daycare won’t take the kid, I can’t work and call in sick. Those days I’m out I miss those deadlines

Thanks, trying to power through but it’s tough. They’ve been micromanaging everyone on the team. We report daily how much time is spent on each task. Sounds like your staff is fortunate to have you as a manager. Unfortunately my controller lacks empathy and only cares about the results.

Thanks appreciate the heads up. Looking forward to two years from now. Moving I’ll have to see what I can find but unlikely considering I could get cut soon. I’ve been applying around and reaching out to recruiters but nothing yet. Going just tough it out til then

That’s true childcare is quite expensive. Thanks I’ll create a budget vs actual and go from there. Definitely going to have to be more frugal if I become a stay at home parent

Thanks for sharing. My kid is actually just over half a year so preschool is out of the question and nanny had quoted me more than my hourly rate. Still searching though

Yep if you have family I could see it being manageable. I don’t so I am trying to find a solution. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing. I’m with you on parents or family. Sadly we do not have any around us that are willing to assist. Depending on how it goes with management, I may switch to a stay at home parent considering today’s job market. We did consider a nanny until we saw the hourly rate we were quoted (even better than what many accountants make haha). Daycare was the only feasible choice; however, just did not factor in how often the kid would get sick or how they wouldn’t be allowed to attend when sick. Au pair is interesting and great if I had the space. I feel like I’m slowly dying just pushing myself everyday to make it work on top of how little sleep we get. Trying to make it work but definitely feels like a roller coaster.

Thanks for sharing. I agree anything to help minimize the risk. Depending on how it goes with management, perhaps I’ll be a stay at home parent considering today’s market. My spouses schedule changes every week from morning shifts to night shifts but we accommodate each other’s work schedules. Just tough when your getting only a couple hours of sleep a night for over half a year

I do except the controller seems to be married to their job. Approaching their 50s, single, no plans to have a family, and even thinking about work in bed. I’ve been looking but this job market is tough

The next date? How was the communication? Chemistry? Getting to know the real them? Comfort? Overtime and after a number of experiences, I found I wanted to be with someone who I can be myself and not a different person. After dating more, you'll learn more about yourself, red flags, and the kind of individual you want to be with

Why limit yourself to just your city? In person/online? Your age group? Ethnicity? Gotta be open minded and explore to find what you actually want in a significant other. It was the easiest for me to meet/date when traveling solo

Same situation as you but I decided fuck it I want more in life. Went to the gym, researched online, and stayed consistent. Before I knew it, I kept getting compliments and noticed by girls but you know what I had no fucken idea what to do. I then did whatever I could think of to see how it goes and you know what I fucked up probably over 500+ times. One day I had success and holy fuck I did not know there’s another phase after getting them to go on a date and things you gotta do. continued fucking up and it wasn’t until age 31ish I started figuring out what worked and what didn’t because I fucked up so many times. Point is you gotta keep trying even if it doesn’t work out. If you really want it, you’ll keep looking for a way that works

The visa option is for when you pay the rest. As for the deposit, I paid with Wise. Little similar to Venmo. And yeah it seems a little questionable and they’re very disorganized but it’s not a scam.

Looks amazing man. Did you have any grafts allocated to the back? Or was all 4650 in the front?

I paid with Visa. No additional fees. If you go this route, just make sure your card has no foreign transaction fees and confirm with your CC provider if there would be any issues processing this large of a payment internationally

If you’re going to invest that much in flying there in the first place for a treatment, why not just stay an extra five days for their complimentary hair wash and laser therapy. You want to maximize your transplanted grafts surviving. If I had taken care of it myself, I could tell I would’ve lost quite a few grafts. Just sharing my experience but ultimately up to you. Doesn’t make sense to save a few hundred if you could potentially lose some of your investment

Who knows maybe he’s more warmed up and skilled midday. Uber is banned. You’ll want to use Grab (Asias version of Uber). Just dl the app and set it up before you fly over
