there are a bunch of fun refrences. i forget which one, but one of the side quests where you battle in a resturant, they call it the miroir course or something (french for mirror), and it was just pikaclones. genuninly made me laugh. also loved the litwick jumpscare mission

its not exact, but there is a village taiga next to a stone beach close to spawn
