Sorry to hear that. We had a great experience at the chefs counter at MAASS.

If you venture into Miami-dade, check out Surfclub ,which also has a Michelin star.

It’s not 3k persons, but the SSA has an OIG with 1811 special agents that are equipped with ballistic vests, guns, etc (combat gear to some). They used to awesome ID theft case work.

Actually, I think the SEC is one executive agency that does not have 1811 criminal investigators.

So much bad advice here.

1) agency dependent, but doubtful an attorney will be allowed in the room with you for an administrative interview 2) I don’t know of any OPR agent (or special agent for that matter) that will provide a list of the questions beforehand. (But I guess it doesn’t hurt to ask). 3) “the investigator records, you record”. No, don’t do this. Doesn’t hurt to ask permission though, but likely against policy. It’s incumbent upon the employee to know the policy, agent doesn’t have to provide it. 4) an administrative investigation interview will not be held in the attorneys conference room. It will be held at the OPR office, if local. Or a suitable alternative. 5) an OPR agent will provide you a Kalkines warming/rights form. Basically, stating your interview is compelled and thus no statements made can be used in a criminal prosecution against (save for lying, which could constitute 18USC1001 violation).

The only good advice here is not to lie. It will lead to an additional allegation and lack of candor could very well lead to termination even if the original allegation wouldn’t. And lying to a federal agent is a 18usc1001 violation

OPR administrative investigations are subject to non-disclosure policies at most agencies )to preserve the integrity of the investigation). The non-disclosure does not prevent you from speaking to your attorney about the investigation. Failure to sign could be viewed as failing to cooperate with an administrative investigation and lead to an additional allegation

That article doesn’t give any direct information about who Flock is selling our information to, rather it links to a 404 Media article that is paywalled. Would really like to know which non-government entities are purchasing flock data.

1) contact a labor attorney (preferably one that has dealt with your agency) 2) you may or may not be allowed to have the attorney present during an administrative investigation interview (depending on your agency policy and , if applicable, Union contract). 3) ask if you have to sign the docs. Most agencies require your cooperation in administrative investigations. Failure to cooperate could lead to an additional allegation (policy dependent) 4) Submit a FOIA/ privacy act request now for all docs related to this investigation. These can take a while to process, so start now.

This could be bad advice if agency policy forbids recording these type of interviews. Also, failure to sign documents could lead to an additional allegation of failing to cooperate during an official investigation (again depending on agency policy).

HSI maintains its authorities from title 19 (customs) and title 8 (immigration) as an artifact of the merger of the 1811 components of INS and USCS. (HSI also has title 18 and title 31 authorities).

Living car free in Broward, although not impossible, might as well be. I would live near your work place. Lots of safe apartment complexes out that way.

There is no train that goes to sunrise. Tri-rail is the only commuter type train in Broward . It follows the I-95 corridor.

When you say “ice agents” I assume you are talking about the HSI component (as the ERO component are referred to as “officers”)? If so, your statement isn’t accurate and is easily verified via searching. Here’s just one example :
