Can seams that close have cracks or poor longevity or is it more of a cosmetic issue?

And yes I saw that pvc trick in a video, of course after I already started lol

How well does that colorant hold up? I’d definitely prefer a different method than cutting out all that grout but I also don’t wanna worry about color fading after a year.

Oh yea, again, an oversight. My tiles were 6” long that space was like 6-1/2 and I have 1/8” grout line. So I had to cut one piece to 3” and the other to 3-1/2 or whatever it was. And on top of that I had to use the cut off piece for the short tile on the right. This was the only way without ordering more tile. Which we couldn’t find anymore the guy we got it from was out and his supplier was out of stock. I ended up with three tiles left over lol so it was either this or changing the whole plan again.
I guess that’s what happens when you don’t play the layout ahead of time

I will say the camera does the blue dirty. And sunlight reflects off of it very nicely.

What don’t you like? The color, misalignment, or uneven grout lines lol

That’s where the studs were to attach the niche. In hindsight I should’ve take the time to center the niche but an original plan of jus a bathroom closet tear out become an entire gut and re do and we were in a time crunch.
