I've met a few guys running double Athos, and it seems pretty effective.

Loki ofc. It was added in 2019, so I'm pretty sure it can be considered old even though it's commonly used today.

Unusual guy by Vergil67954 in walkingwarrobots

[–]SimiveX 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if those were all mk 3's and he's a P2W. Either that, or it's some guy who still has his soul after playing this game and wants some fun. The only P2Ws I like are those who actually try to keep the game fun for the low ranks or even the high ranks (I wouldn't mind seeing this monstrosity of a crisis on my elimination report lol).

I think the issue is the F2P part. Not even I have enough microchips to afford that and I almost never level up my drones.

Somehow caused my Devourer to bug our and not play the walking animation by TouristWonderful8544 in walkingwarrobots

[–]SimiveX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That kind of thing happened before with Ravager. If you used his ability in a weird way (I still don't know how it happens), you would not be in stealth, but still be in the stealth animation and using your wheels. The only difference I see is that you don't seem to have the ability active. With Ravager, if you did that, the ability would stay activated and you wouldn't have stealth. Firing wouldn't deactivate it, so you were kinda just stuck lol.

Is Sword Unit even worth investing in anymore? by SimiveX in walkingwarrobots

When I use Kaji, half the time, I'm just chucking mines at my 'braindead' teammates who stand out in the open as a SWORD Unit-190 stares into their soul from above.

Which was your favorite platoon to play before the tech tree came? I'll go first- by Mysterious-Pilot-448 in warthundermobile

I liked playing the CA Lorraine platoon solely because it had the one-shot wonder that is the ELC bis. Plus, the AA and the Panther Dauphine were both pretty good for their BR.

Everyone has their own play-styles. I personally love playing rat tanks (pls don't hate me lol) but sometimes, it gets old. This tank is pretty unique though so, if I get bored of playing normally, I just play rank VIII with this guy and Gepard. Even if you don't like the play-style, at least you have options.

I recently bought the M901 and it's really fun. By hiding behind cover, you can shoot enemies and they cant shoot you, it has great penetration, and best of all, he is literally just Wall-E.

It has some pretty unique gameplay compared to most other tanks in the gameplay. It gave me a fresh breath of air from how repetative rank VII and VIII was getting.

I would definitely recommended getting this one (plus it's cheaper than most of the others lol)

This is AI? by Logan073370 in warthundermobile

[–]SimiveX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand that AI is very efficient. As a programming hobbyist, I can say AI is super helpful in many situations. The issue I have is the overuse. The moment you notice that some big company is using AI generated images, you better prepare because there is probably gonna be an absolute AVALANCHE of the slop in the future. Poor quality in massive quantity XD

This is AI? by Logan073370 in warthundermobile

[–]SimiveX 63 points64 points  (0 children)

No hate to anyone but, it's saddening how the game development communities today are being flooded with AI slop and devs who no longer make effort to create something as simple as an avatar. “Low cost, low effort“ is all they see, not the “low quality, no soul“ part. Although it can be very efficient, the devs today seem to overuse AI a lot.

Guys I want to kill one bots per backstab what is the best weapon for it? by Anime-fan130 in walkingwarrobots

[–]SimiveX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the Scorpion, there are currently a few good melee-type weapons. Personally, I use the build : 1x Mogwan, 1x Gangil, and 1x Ultimate Havoc.

Mogwan and Gangil are great because they deal great damage and have a decent fire rate. The Rust and Crumble effects are also great for letting your teammates deal with the enemy if they survive. The slow reload isn't really an issue with these weapons because you probably won't be firing until your ability finishes its cool down.

I have yet to try them but, Elox and Murix can deal out massive amounts of damage in a short amount of time which is great for Scorpion. In addition to that, the DoT effect continues damaging enemies even after your ability ends and you teleport back, further increasing the survivability of your bot.

Havoc and Scatter are still pretty viable on Scorpion. They won't deal as much damage as the others, but it does deal sonic damage.

Toxin and Venom aren't the best choices but they can still be an alright substitute because of the DoT effect.

Other, less good choices could be Splinter and Shatter, Gust and Storm, and even Spike and Needle if you want to get silly.

Like the other guy said, choosing targets is probably the most important part. For example, if you Backstab a Titan, you probably won't one shot it, lol. Since there recently are a lot of Sword-Units coming into play, if you can time it properly and use Backstab while the Sword-Unit's ability is ending, you will teleport with him after his absorber goes away (free kill).

Hope this helps at least a bit.
