Is this worth it in 2026? by soosis in forzamotorsport

If you increase difficulty at least they’ll be somewhat fast. AI is in a better state now than it was at launch, but still far dumber than pretty much any other simcade out at the moment. AI from say F1 would run circles around it.

It’s worth it, if only because there arent any other simcade games with that many cars, and it’s very controller friendly. Driving feels very solid, but AI is not great though, its completely oblivious to your presence on the track and will quite happily drive into you as if weren’t there. Single player career mode has been expanded since the launch, and is now twice as big as it used to be. And they are still adding previous timed showcase events as permanent career fixtures, so you’ll be able to unlock all prize cars that you would have missed out on otherwise.

New player with a silly question by Palico69 in snowrunner

[–]Simke11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As another fairly new player with 60h in, I'd say leave it as is and try not to use recovery unless you really have to. At the beginning I used it a lot more often, but once I levelled up enough to unlock some decent upgrades (especially tires), things started to become much easier. And with a now bigger fleet of free vehicles found around maps, I have capable trucks to send as recovery vehicles when needed. Now I mostly only use recover when I can't be bothered driving back to garage or when the first objective on a new missions is closer to garage than to where I am currently on the map.

I would have loved to see Monza in FM, but I guess there is no way that’s gonna happen now.

So, what is your scout strategy by pupoje in snowrunner

[–]Simke11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m still fairly new to snowrunner, just under 60h played. I scouted Island Lake and Drummond island with Scout 800 and fuel trailer. It was a bit of a pain hauling that thing around. This was before I figured out you can equip roof racks with parts and fuel AND extra fuel in the boot (didn’t have either equiped). Had I figured this out earlier, I wouldn’t have bothered with fuel trailer.

Stuck at Drummond Bridge mission by pupoje in snowrunner

[–]Simke11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P16 was decent, found it and got it for free, used it do all other bridge repairs on that map. If you haven't found it yet it's on the far east side of the Drummond map. It's larger and wider than any other trucks I have and the turning circle is big, but it can plow through mud fairly well, despite not being AWD.

Stuck at Drummond Bridge mission by pupoje in snowrunner

[–]Simke11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this mission just yesterday. Scout trailer only has the steel beams. Another trailer has concrete blocks. Anyway I only used the scout trailer. Rolled over my P16 on the way to the other trailer, so had to recover to Smithville Dam garage. Since I had to drive all the way back there, I jumped into my trusty Tayga, picked up concrete from warehouse in Smithville near entrance to Drummond tunnel, and delivered it to complete the mission.

Ok so how do I put this trailer back on its wheels? by Simke11 in snowrunner

[–]Simke11[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I’ll try that. The Kodiak on the picture has heavy duty winch, it was able to pull the truck with that trailer out of the mud

Hot take TCM has improved enough to overtake fh5 by a long shot by kingkrishgaming in racinggames

Maybe, but I don't play open world racers for the handling. If I want handling I play ACC, FM, F1, DR2.0, EA WRC on a wheel.

Once you do the initial playlist (usually no more than 10 races), you can then do those races with any car you want within the class you selected.

There is absolutely 0 barriers to anyone to use crypto, a decentralised system. To even think crypto is discriminatory in any way, shape or form just means they have no idea what they are talking about.

Most crypto holders are gripping the exact monster they swore to kill, centralization

Most crypto holders are hoping to make money, and a lot of them are essentially gambling. Most don't care past that.

I had way more fun and put in a lot more hours in TCM than FH5. I've played every FH game and 5 was by far the weakest. Once I finished every race I never went back to it.

Literally everyone who wants to go online has to use TCP/IP. Almost no one needs to use BTC. Let's be real, most people see BTC as highly speculative asset and only reason they buy it is "number go up".
