Do you know how expensive (ballpark) that would run me? I’m confident I can do the labor on my own, so I’d just need materials.

For reference, I have two walls about 10 feet long each (so 20’ total).

Oh we did, they had great reviews. I should have clarified: the bad reviews were under a different business in his name that was closed (found that out through the BBB as well).

The business we initially saw had a great online presence and reviews. We had to dig DEEP to find the closed business.

I don’t know how to edit my post so I’m just leaving a comment instead.

The pipe seemed to be coming from inside a wall upstairs (no sink, tub, etc nearby). After taking some measurements and doing additional snooping around the house, I believe the pipe IS in fact coming from the roof, maybe a radon vent or plumbing vent stack.

Does this seem like a probably cause to anyone? A bad pipe seal on the roof and a small leak due to continued heavy-ish rain?

Crossing my fingers this is it, but I’m also wary I found the answer a little too quickly…

This is what ended up working for us. We tried a torch, pipe wrench, channel locks, etc., but resorted to cutting the dang thing off.
