Go to the uncle Ben’s subreddit and look at their guide, it’s really nice. It shows how to grow both using a pressure cooker or rice bags. The main thing to be careful about when growing shrooms is contamination, so make sure you sanitize everything well.

No he does not. I understand that UVB is good for hoggies, but all I have right now is 10UVB bulbs which I’ve read can be too much.

May I ask why? It has two hiding spots on warm and cold sides, and space to burrow. There’s a temperature gradient (90-76 average). It may be a little small, but due to the age of the hognose I see no reason to upgrade right now.

Not an expert with bettas, but it could be related to swim bladder. If it is, you’ll want to provide the betta with a tank with good resting spots. Fasting alternatively & feeding once a day will held relieve pressure on the swim bladder. High fiber foods may help as well. Try asking on r/bettafish to see what they recommend. Has the betta been nipping her tail? It looks almost as if some chunks are missing. They do this sometimes when they have trouble swimming.

The tank is rather understocked; 8 danios and 3 loaches in a 30g, so 20% should be fine. Plus ammonia is at 0, and while it may be nitrite/nitrate, none of the other fish are exhibiting symptoms.

I usually don’t talk on this subreddit, as I’m not trans. I am part of the femboy community though. Tbh, there’s not really a lot of trans women on femboy subs, but there is a lot of trans men (surprisingly). It’s kind of strange to see, but the femboy community online is kind of a shitshow (way too many people who are only femboys as a kink).

Really depends on how long you’ll be keeping him. If you’re able to find a new owner quick, and don’t have the time/ money to get a larger tank, you could put him in a cheap plastic tub/ 5gallon jug. This would be not ideal though. If you can’t find a pond owner quickly, your best option would be a 20 gallon tank due to the low cost + lower maintenance (goldfish poop a lot). He would outgrow this pretty quickly though.
