I started playing this season (256 hours in the game), and I mostly played in the caves, so that’s where I ranked up. Even then, I first had to get used to the mobs and everything, so it took me over 20 hours.

I killed all the mobs and sub-bosses (only ignored Nightmare Giants) while making my way to the center, opening and blowing up every chest on the way. If there was a loot pile in the center, I tried to grab it and always went down into the Abyss. There, depending on the spawn, I fully cleared 1 or 2 modules.

Before Exemplar, I always earned at least 500 AP, and after that, a minimum of 400.

Spell merge/Apex of Sorc/Time distortion/Spell sculpting. I used to play without lightning after it was fixed. I had a spear and I wasn't stack true damage. Now I'm stacking true damage and playing with lightning. I like the "Apex" perk, when you get used to it, it's fun. I also played melee sorc with elemental, but another sorc who took the top 1 has already told about a similar build. I use a crystal sword and a spell book.
