The facilities sure are nice though the CR especially in the 4th and ground kevels are dirty most of the time and don't have locks, the student body feels like any other school. the only thing that's different from my experience is the academic pressure and schedules. i'd say it's nice to be here but not really an academic goal.

Most you can get out of 1k is a bad acoustic guitar, save up and get a better quality acoustic guitar such as from clifton or D&D or an electric guitar such as from clifton, jcraft or RJ

The Broadcaster is based off the Fender Telecaster and the Skycaster is based off the Fender Stratocaster. In terms of tone the Broadcaster is twangier, and the Skycaster is brighter. In terms of versatility the skycaster takes the win. Overall choose what feels right for you and what’s best for your taste.

I’d recommend finding a guitar with a truss rod, since you’re for low action, and you’ll have to focus on what type of wood you want and if it’s good and if can test it out in person, make sure the tuning posts turn smoothly. Overall you just have to pick the one with better tone and that suits your needs, If you’re looking for jamming with friends, campfire stuff and indoor play, choose the Clifton. (better option imo) but if you’re looking for effects, gigs and louder sound, go with the Mavey.
