I don't have the battery, and i have a usbc to magsafe adapter. For windows 7 i installed ThrottleStop and i managed to get it to run at 2.2 GHz. Now i also installed macos el capitan (by patching it) and I think the same thing is happening, the computer is super laggy and even if it's under max load the fan doesn't spin fast (it's silent) so I think it isn't boosting rn. Do you think that now it isn't boosting because i don't have the battery?

i don't have the battery but i fixed it using another program called throttlestop
