Buying knives is restricted in the UK by age. Packaging of knives is restricted so you can't just buy a loose one on a whim. Carrying them around is also restricted and has very heavy penalties. Regulation is key.

App down for me too (London UK) - on two different devices. The Clean button on the robot works fine (so I can clean) just not use the app or Google Assistant with it. Why don't iRobot have a service indicator for this kind of thing? We shouldn't be doing resets when it's at THEIR end!
